  • Here's one way to read without a spread: Find your subject, verb, and descriptor. You can do this for your querent, or involve them in it.

    I love, love, love this method. It is one of the most organic 3 card spreads I've seen or read about since I started my new journey through the delicious cards of the tarot 9 months ago. I want more like this.

    What a brilliant way to do a reading , I was guessing where you would the second lot of cards, and was right every time. Great tip, thanks.

    Could you leave them as they are and read them in the order of subject, verb and object without moving the cards around? Like if the court card like a Page is in the object position could that be like learning something perhaps or receiving some type of information ?

    I read for myself a lot and sometimes I just let the cards flow and read them as they come out of the deck. But, I love your method!! Thank you for the idea :)

    I know this is old, but I love the way you read the cards! Although I'm pretty good at reading them, I might try a few readings like this ♡ :3

    This is wonderful! I absolutely LOVE your videos! I have a question on this one.... you mentioned a video at 3:41 about the court cards being on an evolutionary journey. Could you please let me know where to find that?! I’ve searched, but can’t seem to locate it anywhere! Thank you so much, and keep up the fantastic work!!!! 😘❤️

    This is great but can I ask have you actually checked your answers/readings with what You saw in your cards happening as result? I suppose what I mean is if you have confirm this way of reading is actually accurate? Because if u read the cards in the way you pulled them the hole meaning changes

    Hi Tom, Amy here. I like this. I much prefer to not use specific spreads - I find them restraining, limiting - and, in some ways, can manipulate a reading if allowed. So in working with the rows of three, does one just keep going until they feel completion? Thank you, Tom =)

    • @thefoolsjournal
      @thefoolsjournal  6 років тому +3

      I keep evolving this, of course, but lately I've been using the nine cards as three rows of three and three columns of three. I read the middle card and the top left card to give me a "thesis" and I try to use the rows and columns of three to validate or disprove the thesis--basically to help me give as much color as I need. By then, I don't usually need more--but I could always start using diagonals, etc. Does that help?

      I love this! Nine card spreads are quickly becoming a favorite for me. I first became familiar with then with Lenormand. Oooo, this GOOD STUFF, my Friend, GOOD STUFF!

    I know this is old, but how would you do that with say the Wild Unknown tarot deck which uses different images than rider-waite? Knowing it's mostly images of just wands (branches) or just swords or just Pentacles or just cups? Sometimes it's hard to get a feel for what a card is trying to say without looking at the book for a basic meaning. I know the 7 of Pentacles in the Wild Unknown deck is a tough one to decipher without picking up the book for me.
    Other than that, you basically spoke my language and described reading cards in a way that I could understand!! Thank you for this!! Putting it in the concept of English class was brilliant 👌❤️
