If we go by release order, the first part of Nythera's saga is from 2008-2009 and the fire orb saga was in 2009, so I can see the confusion lol. The timeline even shows it happens much earlier.
Yea ik. Which is why I was kinda confused when Warlic died because he appears later on in the fire saga. Regardless, this saga was a pretty good introduction to Nythera and it's cool to see a bit of Warlic lore.
Book 2 had a lot of cut content due to the number of devs being shifted to AQW after the end of book 1, so it ended up as short as it is with not much of an introduction, you're just suddenly thrust into it. Fortunately, there's a currently ongoing project for updating it and it's going along nicely. I'm not sure it'll be done though by the time you reach it 🤔
Btw, it wasn't Akriloth that you met in the beginning to get your dragon egg, it was the Red Dragon (dunno if he had a name though).

if you're having trouble reequiping your items, just use the load out feature😂

Oh, I also forgot to mention, 2012 is also around the time the work on the AQ3D project began, so that also accounts for some devs lost.
