I wondered where all these measurement were coming from, Surgeo never touched me so much X) Then I remembered I've only gotten my custom FarmerJhon 5mm Black so far and cant wait for my hoodie once i have cash. Thanks Rob for a robust and warm suit that fits better than most of my clothes.
Wow that was very impressive I’ve been measured for a wetsuit before and know where near that many different measurements. This would make the perfect fit can’t wait to get one 😊
It would be great if you could include a measurement for women to consider their bust size too since this is something that I need to include for a best-fitting custom-made suit. Thanks
I know this may seem like an off the wall comment and I do not expect a response, but as a surfer who became a spearfisherman, the warm water suits should NOT follow the same design as the cold water suits. It’s not necessary. I absolutely hate beaver tail designs, although I will put up with them in cold water because there is a warmth advantage. Rip curl makes a “E bomb 2.2 zipper less” wetsuit that is absolutely fantastic for spearfishing warm water. I use a Rob allen lycra over the suit to solve the hood problem. I’m telling you if Rob allen could design a warm water suit like that rip curl e bomb suit, with a hood in the 2-3mm range I think a lot of people would be interested. Beaver tail designs probably came into practical use due to warmth designs / restrictions. Simply not necessary in warmer water suits.
I agree fully. The problem for us is, although we do get requests for these suits the vast majority of requests are for the 3mm standard we make. 2nd is for 5mm. To keep costs affordable we need to buy fabric in large volumes and turn it into suits quickly. The quantity of fabric for 1,5mm (the most common thin suit request) will last us 2 to 3 years minimum. We need to turn a batch of fabric in to suits at least twice in a year in order to keep costs down. Sometimes a specific colour will take 12 months. Space in the factory to hold such bulk sheets in many varieties is also a problem.

I love custom suits but still being in my 20’s my weight fluctuates to much
Easy fix, just get a new suit every 6 months 😜👍
@@RobAllenSpearfishing hahaha I wish. I have the 3.5 sienna camo suit and I love it. Only suit that I’ve found that comfortably fits my 6’7” body
