Vegeta is always miserable, but he looked particularly miserable during this fight. I think there’s a possibility he just realized it’s not suited for battle. As for how Vegeta got the form so soon after Buu’s defeat, ya gotta think about it, it’s a common trope in this series that once a character experiences a certain level of power, characters adapt and grow more quickly. Not just the Saiyans, the many non Saiyan characters have this perk. So Vegeta getting this form 6-18 months after the Buu Saga, it makes sense. He’s felt it. It’s how Gotenks got it, it’s how Caulifla will eventually get it. You just need to be trained in it right and for a long period of time to nummfy the drawbacks alot better more so that the transformation can be more stable and useful.
