The composer (Hirokazu Tanaka) is a huge reggae lover! His favorite activity after work was going to a reggae listening bar on his way home, drinking a beer and chilling to the music
Still bugs me that nothing cures Mushrooms save leaving the dungeon and going to specific NPCs. Like, we can cure colds, raise the dead and transmute diamond into flesh but I guess removing fungus is just a little bit too complicated.
@@anass733 Yes, doctors and healers can, but items and PSI cannot. Which is absolutely disastrous when you're fighting a boss and Paula turns around and casts PK Fire centred on herself
I associate this music with Dr. Saturn because I just HATE going to hospitals and paying for their health services... screw that, I'm getting it for free!
You could also consider it to be OMORI'S hospital theme too. It's called "Clean Slate," and it heavily resembles "Good For Health, Bad For Imagination" as well as any version of "A Home For Flowers."
@@jackweslycamacho8982 This has a leitmotif melody that plays in Fourside town. Count the notes in that song and this one. In this one in the first trumpet melody after the first 6 notes it does not continue, but just repeats the delay of the last 2 notes until they fade out, and it's silent. Then the melody comes back but for only 3 notes this time and it also fades out with the delay effect on last 2 notes

I work at a hospital. When I work late shifts, I'm bumping this at my desk.
So uh hows it there
I just started working at a hospital. Today was my first chance to play this at work.
anyone come in with a mushroom on their head yet?
@@Nickel_The_Wise They can’t help people with mushrooms on their head. They have to refer them to a guy who wants to buy it

as a jamaican, i love everything about this. wish i would’ve played this game as a child.

Hey, it's that hit Omori song "Good for the health, bad for imagination"!
Yep, that's where that OMORI track got it's inspiration from.
Both tracks also have a reprise at the end of the game.
That song title is an AKIRA reference.
You could also consider it to be OMORI'S hospital theme too. It's called "Clean Slate," and it heavily resembles "Good For Health, Bad For Imagination" as well as any version of "A Home For Flowers."
i love how the delay changes every time
Probably my favorite track in the EarthBound's OST
same here that bass groove is so smooth
Same
no hospital deserves to be this groovy
the bassline really reminds me of "Pass the dutchie"
because it’s a early 80s inspired dancehall instrumental lol.
This and “friendly neighbors”are rasta’d out

This is just reggae and I love it
Leaving less than a quarter of the melody and only 9 notes out of 38 makes this sound special and more memorable
