  • It's time for the next video in the series, The Making of a Drill Sergeant, where we follow a U.S. Army Reserve noncommissioned officer through the process of going to The U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
In Episode 3, Part 3, we see the graduation of our drill sergeant candidate, Sgt. Alycia Perkins from Columbia, South Carolina. That right. She's officially a drill sergeant now! Send her some congratulations.
We caught up with her again on the trail at Fort Jackson, so read all about her experiences in article three at www.army.mil/a.... (Stay tuned for videos from that soon.)
If you are interested in becoming a U.S. Army Reserve drill sergeant, make sure you check out www.the98thdri... for details on qualifications.
