I like the blankets in the LR and also in the movie room! The organizing accessories need to leave the movie room and move to the utility room or a closet. 😊

Thank you for cutting the plastic that holds the drinks together! You are absolutely right, those can get tangled by fish and turtles (honu in Hawaiian) if they get in the ocean…it’s so sad. I always drive my family crazy when I move stuff around and they can’t find things 😂. I would move organizers to laundry room if you have the space. Seems to make more sense than a movie room. Electronic things in movie room. I would leave the neutral blankets in Living room, avoid all the busier blankets ending up on couches, that would drive you nuts. Plus having to go to another room. Love your home ❤

I totally agree with the whole refrigerator dilemma. I guess it is so difficult because every family member is in there multiple times a day and the contents change every time the door is opened. I would love to see a video on what a professional company would suggest. There must be concepts that help. I just have never heard what they are.

There is only one thing that you say and also my children use to say it too so PLEASE don't take it to heart. When you're talking about your floor you always say ground. If it's inside of a building it's a floor. If it's outside a building it's a ground. Please know I am not trying to be disrespectful I just had to make that statement. I agree with leaving the blankets in the living room.The room that they're gonna be used in easy access easy put away. And also the blankets in the movie room. I have also learned over the years to have things if there's too heavy up high to maybe put those items lower so that I can reach them when no one was around. Lesson learned, I hurt my shoulder years ago when I tried it different. So just a tip I'm passing on. I love the space you have and you do a fantastic job.

I decant all of the condiments into squeeze bottles and have 2 clear acrylic lazy Susans side by side in the center of the fridge for easy access. I use the door baskets for drinks. Keeps it pretty open for all the extras.
I like to put like items together ( an obsession) but because I have a very large 3 story house, it doesn’t work. I keep things where they are convenient and even though it drives me crazy, my guests….and family are more comfortable.
I'm of the same mind Ashley, having like/ same items together or very near to each other. All your hosting items can go inside a tote and mark Hosting.. then place that near the closest spot up in the attic. I was inclined today to refresh under my sink and fridge today. Oh I'm so glad I did.

Hi Ashley! I love your organization. I’m working on my kitchen but I haven’t found all of the right organizers for my space yet. I like the blankets in the living room so they are close by. I laughed when I saw you cutting up the plastic rings from the bottles. I do that too! While at Discovery Cove swimming with the dolphins a few years ago one of the dolphin trainers told us to always cut them up because they end up in the ocean and dolphins and other sea life get stuck in them. I have always cut them up since then.

Have you ever thought to move the majority of the stuff from the kitchen under sink area to a laundry room or kitchen drawers. Your house is so huge. I just have one clear lazy Susan under my sink with absolutely necessary stuff and it looks and feels and so airy with no clutter. Love the video 👍🌺🌼🌸
I feel the same way about my fridge, but I’m our family the groceries can vary from week to week depending on our meal plans and the sales on store or just what we’re craving, so it doesn’t make sense for me to buy anything additional to organize with. Those crazy over the top esthetics were never a thing before social media. Yeah it looks satisfying but doesn’t seem practical for non content creators. When I was growing up, my mom, aunts, grandmas didn’t have any clear acrylic fridge bins and they survived just fine. So if you do bring in a professional organizer, just go into it with the mindset that it’s for content, and that’s just fine, and actually your admission that your fridge doesn’t look Pinterest worthy makes you more relatable as a fellow mom.
Another thought for utility room fridge. I use these for water bottles and other bottled beverages. Pro: they move drinks forward, con only for 5 drinks in each section. I Just like that they move the drinks forward. Always look forward to your videos. Ps Hope your daughter is having an awesome dance comp season!!

I’m a professional organiser from Australia & highly recommend you book that local company to organise your fridge for you! Especially since you say it’s an area that you struggle with… they can set it up for you to maintain. Then you’ll love it as much as the spaces you’re an absolute pro at organising!! ☺️😘
Proud of you for continuing cutting up the plastic so wildlife don’t get hurt. I have seen plenty of seagulls, fish, birds, turtles hurt due to plastic that holds drinks. Another UA-camr that has a movie room has all of her blankets the same color & keeps them on the back of each chair in the movie room, kept there all seasons.
I’d leave the blankets in the living room for convenience but if it drives you crazy move them! It’s your house and do what works best for you! If I could afford it, I’d definitely get the fridge organizer to come and whatever other organizational people I could get to help me as well lol
I think for majority of people the fridge areas in general is hard to maintain. Part of it because it used multiple times daily. Don’t feel bad about it. I recently moved a clear eggs container to the door shelve. It’s was the best decision. I’m able to store eggs in two layers, just simple container with no dividers. So convenient. My next thought to find a bread box that fits and store a bread on the lower shelf 👍🌺🌼🌸

Enjoy watching you, to learn your tips and tricks!! Making the blanket cabinets in the movie room and the living room was a simple but a good idea. I prefer to have our throws folded and out of sight, but handy and in reach.
Leave the living room blankets where they ate. I would put the organization bins in the utility room. The DVD stuff I would put in a bin in the attic, since y'all don't use it.
We don’t have much of a plan lol. We buy 6 factor meals each week that are delivered to us which takes care of 3 meals. We cook a couple times each week at the house and then eat out the rest of the meals. Thanks for watching!

If you don't have room in your laundry room for the extra organizers, why not in the attic? I thought maybe the backpacks would go up there, too. You could put them in a large bin or a plastic storage bag to keep them dust free. great job on the refresh. I just did my make-up drawers, yesterday.
About 30 years ago, my aunt told me about sea turtles and other wildlife getting tangled up in the drink holders. Since then I ALWAYS cut them apart. I probably cut mine up too small, but better safe than sorry.
Never too many blankets!! I would have them in both rooms tho so you don’t have to go get them when you need them in the living room. Also, do you still homeschool Savannah? I've cut the plastic on cans/bottles forever. Learned it in an environmental class in Fla. I've seen birds and ocean life tangled in it. Birds/ ocean life can also eat it and when they do it kills them! Please cut these always. It will help alot. Be sure to cut ALL of the openings they might put their beak in or eat. Another thought for utility room fridge. I use these for water bottles and other bottled beverages. Pro: they move drinks forward, con only for 5 drinks in each section. Proud of you for continuing cutting up the plastic so wildlife don’t get hurt. I have seen plenty of seagulls, fish, birds, turtles hurt due to plastic that holds drinks. Another UA-camr that has a movie room has all of her blankets the same color & keeps them on the back of each chair in the movie room, kept there all seasons.

I’d leave the blankets in the living room for convenience but if it drives you crazy move them! It’s your house and do what works best for you! If I could afford it, I’d definitely get the fridge organizer to come and whatever other organizational people I could get to help me as well lol

I think for majority of people the fridge areas in general is hard to maintain. Part of it because it used multiple times daily. Don’t feel bad about it. I recently moved a clear eggs container to the door shelve. It’s was the best decision. I’m able to store eggs in two layers, just simple container with no dividers. So convenient. My next thought to find a bread box that fits and store a bread on the lower shelf 👍🌺🌼🌸

I have a difficult time with my fridge as well I think you should hire someone to help you with your fridge it would be wonderful for you to film I would love to watch that. Leave the living room blankets where they ate. I would put the organization bins in the utility room. The DVD stuff I would put in a bin in the attic, since y'all don't use it.

I’m curious what your weekly meal plan is.
We don’t have much of a plan lol. We buy 6 factor meals each week that are delivered to us which takes care of 3 meals. We cook a couple times each week at the house and then eat out the rest of the meals. Thanks for watching!

If you don't have room in your laundry room for the extra organizers, why not in the attic? I thought maybe the backpacks would go up there, too. You could put them in a large bin or a plastic storage bag to keep them dust free.

About 30 years ago, my aunt told me about sea turtles and other wildlife getting tangled up in the drink holders. Since then I ALWAYS cut them apart. I probably cut mine up too small, but better safe than sorry.

Put things where they are used. Leave the neutral blankets in the living room.
I've cut the plastic on cans/bottles forever. Learned it in an environmental class in Fla. I've seen birds and ocean life tangled in it. Birds/ ocean life can also eat it and when they do it kills them! Please cut these always. It will help alot. Be sure to cut ALL of the openings they might put their beak in or eat.
