4 Years Later. Who would have thought that Robinhood would be taken out by a ClassAction Lawsuit
Fantastic app. Thanks to these 2 guys I've grown my account by ~25% since May and have traded over 1000times lol. I've learned so much, can't believe it's free. Let's hope my "luck" continues

I'm a huge fan of Robinhood. Great for someone who wants to buy stocks, but doesn't have much money. Even if you had more money, it's great because of commission-free trades for stocks. I wish them continued success.

Aggregating stock purchases and then routing a bulk order through a "Dark Pool"[0] (AKA an exclusive, non public equities market, how much more Wall Street can it get?) is not decentralizing the process, in fact its selling decentralization and then recentralizing purchases thereof, and in an even more exclusive market. Occupy Wall Street indeed.

They need to come out with call & put options though.
Options trading is a little complicated and expensive for the average RH user. I think they should let us short stocks first then move into options trading.

These guys changed the industry. No commission fees by big brokers before 2020 accomplished.
This app for me has been a game changer. I'm not a day trader but a long term buy and hold investor. It was insane how seamless and easy it was for me to put in different order types and build my portfolio and watch it grow around 8%. I cannot imagine wasting away my money in brokerage fees with traditional Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Etrade kinda entities.
You guys are awesome, giving the little guy a chance.

Four years ago, Robinhood was revolutionary. Even though the big guys have followed the same model RH has, they essentially pushed for it, and it almost looked like they'll have an IPO in the future.
Today, we got an infinite money glitch, down for a whole day, and market manipulation. Essentially flushing their past accomplishments and future goals down the toilet.
Wonder if these guys started out as Runescape hackers and used the money they got from that to raise capital. Pretty smart.
Yet I see so many complaints from day traders about Robinhood.
Dudes, How about a t-shirt that says, "Ask me about Robinhood!"?

I had a bad experience with Robinhood. Was on the phone for an hour only to talk to a kid who had idea. I now tries to close my account and move my account and they deducted $75 for ACH out fees. They are not game changers. They are scammers

i hate robinhood ...i bought 20k options planing on day trade i was up 2k in a minutes try to sell my options but the apps have problem it show we attempted to cancel your order but haven't received confirmation from the execution venue. please check back later......so i try to call robinhood but can't find any customers service number only email. it took 2 hours to reply my email and fixed the problem. my option from up 2k to down 4k so I lost 6 thousands dollar.. i learnt my lesson you get what you pay for i'm switching back to Etrade now.

Have you been having trouble getting your dividends with RH? I have, i called the company, and the funds were send out on time, the ex date was 11-8 and the distributions were send out on time on 11-19 is what the company told me, so RH is holding back the dividends it seems, it's really difficult to reach them, i have written to them several times, I have been with them for couple years now, and I am thinking of moving my account, has anyone else had this problem?

its sold but its passed the savings are passed on to us via commission free trades. Stop complaining, if you want fast exectuion then go pay 10 dollars a trade and have a minimum of 2k in your account else where
5 yrs later , co; is losing. I had their shares from Aug: 2021, at $54 . ( 450 SHARES) . Now $15.

Garbage app. Don't Get it!!! Have been trying to close. Transfers keep failing without an explanation. If you work for a financial firm most likely not an approved broker. As was the case with me... Help staff doesn't follow up. 👎👎
Robin hood still my money. For example I deposit today $1400 initial deposit $1000 after business day $400 but completely deposited $400 but my account didn't receive from them I had 3 times happened. Don't open Robin hood sound good to be true ... cheating client I was so upset how can talk them they never answer the phone..email didn't fix the problem.. money is missing but they denied.. I had bad bad experiences. Never ever again sucks I lost my money from Robin hood $2400 never returned

ATTENTION!! just to let you know once you are market as a pattern day trader. you are able to buy stocks but not able to sell, so if you are loosing money YOU CAN'T do absolutely nothing, except to deposit the difference to make your account to $25,0000. hope this helps...
While you can't day trade (buying and selling the same stock multiple times a day), you can do swing trading, where you hold the stock for at least one day. I swing trade penny stocks on Robin Hood with no problems, usually holding a stock through a swing of about 5-10 days.

Enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, Anna buys stocks like someone who started yesterday with no regard for Macro concerns like inflation, and interest rates. I started my portfolio with precisely 84k grand in stocks last year and currently over 1.3 million in my portfolio , never had major losses, all of that covered by her insurance policies .I still believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you to earn more money, I don't know who agrees with me but either way I recommend stocks because stock market is still one of the most potential places to invest your money. I would advise y'all to trade your asset rather than holding it for a future you aren't sure about.
