Dinally Love Well when she's always asked about Camila, it's like she still needed to think twice on what she's gonna say about her. I mean, it's been nearly 2 years and she can't even say Camila's name without tensing up. She just needs to keep it real.
Well, she's telling the truth, sometimes people just grow out relationships. I know there are people I haven't talked to in a decade, but in most cases, our life has headed in different directions. No hate it just happens when you grow up. People are busy, some start families, its just life. I think there is a kind of sadness to this, I think how everything went down, and interference by parties behind the scenes and the fandom really becoming on the toxic side didn't help. Maybe in the future they will get in contact and rekindle some sort of friendship.

This makes me sad:( But because of the way she told it, very positive, really honest, I feel like I can deal with it. She is right, people sometimes outgrow each other and that is just life. I was really hoping they were still very good friends in some way, but this is a good way to let go of that hope and just move on. I wish them both all the best and maybe in the future they will become good friends again. But still I don't think it will ever be the same as it used to be. And even if it will be the same, it's not like we will see. There are no takeovers anymore, they're not in a band, so it will just be behind closed doors. that is very gutsy of the interviewer to so bluntly ask her those questions, I thought it was invasive. what Dinah said was not shocking though I mean people hold up celebs on this pedestal but they're people, and it seems her and Camila grew apart like many friends do.

C'mon, I believe they are still friends. It's hard to forget those experience especially at the teenage stage coming to 20's. Still fresh and you're with them almost everyday, you took a bath and sleep together. But anyways, it's their life. Maybe they lowkey still contact each other, away from the public eyes. What I don't believe is that they don't miss each other and those fun memories together, duh.
Erill Sison I don’t think they forgot their experiences together, some people just grow apart. I had friends in high school who I talked to a lot and genuinely valued their friendship but now that we’re all in college, I haven’t even spoken to because we’ve just gone our separate ways like Dinah said. I have other friends who I consider to be my closest friends who I do still talk to and see all the time though. People are gonna make a bigger deal out of this than they should because of the way it all happened with Camila leaving, but it’s really not a big deal at all. I think people tend to exaggerate how close they actually were because their whole friendship was forced in the first place anyway.
@@theatricalityanddeception I understand but everyone is not the same, I also have really close friends from highschool that until now are my friends and we are still hanging out. I mean highschool friends are different from friends who you're with every day and night. But who knows, they are still in contact at some times and they just don't want other people (public) to know. You know the more people get curious the more they will invest their time making theories or stories just to feed their curious mind. They will take time to know every single detail in every music videos or every interviews these girls are in. The drama will continue and the fans will continue to talk about them. I hope someday to see them together tho.
Erill Sison You’re right that this is different from high school friends, but I feel like as a result of spending literally their entire lives together for multiple years, they could’ve just gotten tired of it. The reason I say that I think people exaggerate how close all five of them actually were is because if you listen to the way Camila talks about Taylor Swift or Normani talks about Khalid or Lauren talks about Halsey, it just sounds so much more genuine and natural. I hear Camila say things like she will always have Taylor’s back and how she’s always been there for her and I never heard her talk about the other girls like that even during fifth harmony. And how she celebrated her 18th birthday with Taylor and not the other girls. You can just tell that those friendships are so much more genuine and close. And the way Lauren connects so well with Halsey and Normani connects so well with Khalid. It just seems so much more natural and not forced like fifth harmony was. Not trying to say they weren’t friends or anything because they clearly were, but maybe not quite as close as people think. I feel like with fifth harmony, it’s more like a sisterhood than a really close friendship.
@@theatricalityanddeception This is what I'm talking about, we are literally talking about them because of this interview, we take time to reply but maybe in reality they are just cool with each other, looking back on their interviews and interactions way back they said they got each others back. Maybe at first they felt really uncomfortable when they were put together because they have no idea who's who. Well Lauren and Camila met first without knowing they'll be in a group but they clicked together before forming as band. I mean, we can't just put words in their mouth, all we have are public appearances as proofs and they only answered questions that are ask by this people who only wants what are recent and more talked about at the moment. It's just heartbreaking that we judge them so easily like we know them since birth or we can even read their minds or feel how they felt, these are all pr if you know what I mean, there are truths and lies in show business. Camila loves Taylor and I understand how she fangirls over her then suddenly became one of Tays friend. It's ok to have friends out of their group tho. But all in all I believe that they really are still friends.
Erill Sison I respect that, but I just get the feeling from hearing them talk about each other and the way they talk about their other friends, that it just wasn’t as genuine as people think. When I say forced, I mean none of them ever wanted to be in a girl group in the first place. They wanted to be solo artists from the start, but at that age they probably just went along with the whole situation. So when you spend that much time with the same group of people, you’re kind of forced to become friends with them. It just seems to have happened so much more naturally for Camila and Taylor, and Normani and Khalid, and Lauren and Halsey. Also keep in mind that they all had friends before fifth harmony who they knew for a lot longer and were probably a lot closer with. Like they were just normal teenagers at one point living normal high school lives. In the end, I just want them to be happy. I really don’t care if they are still friends or aren’t anymore. I could be totally wrong about all this but it’s just the impression I get from listening to them.
