@@creggyscrochet Update: I changed the pattern by adding 2 extra rows of border in Yellow. Than made another 11 for total of 12, sewing them together to make a scarf with another border. Turned our very nice. I do not like granny squares and this was first time a pattern has convinced me to make some. I still don’t like granny squares, but the scarf turned out really great 🤩👍

Wow. After several attempts I have finally gotten the same result as the above. As a beginner (3+ years) this was excellent for me to understand if I followed the directions. The need to get the beginning sorted before moving on and having more problems later. A huge learning experience. Appreciate that this lovely pattern has both the sun and the moon. Looks incredible. Thank you.

Plus it was sooo much fun to make. And thankfully my granny squares' sun rays are curved. I followed every single detail. Thank you so much for this lovely tutorial. This was a fantastic tutorial, I had a lot of fun making it! I messed up at some point and made 13 sun points instead of 12 but it still came out amazing in my opinion. Great work!

TY so much for this it is the center of my afghan. I'm making this one for my daughter with all her favorite things in it. I used navy for the background. Her name is Celina and it stands for moonlight. I also put four Celestial moons in the corners. My mother though they were just Cs. 😃

@@creggyscrochet Ok, thanks! Last one I made was a sunflower granny baby blanket and used the join as you go, I didn't like the ridges it left, too much texture for me. I think I will go with the whip stitch for this one. Nice,clean look. Thanks for the quick response!
