@@jayweth The fact is with all those ports, you lose muzzle velocity. Thanks for being a moron.
@@jayweth Yeah, it's like 40-80fps with most ports...and hotter ammo only makes them more effective, so you can shoot a 1250fps round (going 1180fps), and it'll shoot flatter than a non-ported gun shooting regular ammo.
PS--if you want a new in box DPM recoil kit for cheap, let me know. I'm selling mine as I had to sell the HCP to try out other things.

Awesome build…I’m a big fan of the the Hellcat RDP, Shield SMSC, MCarbo trigger/titanium firing pin and reduced springs, streamlight TLR8 Sub…the extra weight on the front really keeps it down and has all the features I want…I’d say it’s pretty comparable to what u have-same size as well.
Those are some good upgrades. Might need to take a look at those for this one.
I’ve been thinking of getting my hellcat pro ported have you shot at night? Do you notice a bigger blinding fireball out of the ports then without? I’m using my hellcat pro for more of a concealed carry and home defense so I’m wondering if porting it would be a waist just to be blinded when I need to use it.
Awesome to see it back, in my opinion the hellcat is the perfect size with 15rd factory capacity…but trigger and recoil have kept it from being the carry king. With the recoil reduction and decent trigger it should take top spot with factory 15rd reliability! Looks like the 6 ports are a big improvement.
Yea i think its a great piece just needs some updates. And the macbro has some upgrades so its not an apples to apples comparison..but its close. :)
@jayweth you need to get the full Mcarbo trigger and internal kit. I changed mine out, and it’s by far the best. I’ve tried all the other triggers on my hellcat pro (apex, hyve-monarch, tyrant and now the Mcarbo). It’s by far the best, especially with the adjustability on the trigger take up 🤙🏻

Going to be sending my HC pro in to Floyds for porting. Have already made several other mods. Dpm springs, Apex 3 trigger, cyelee cat pro optic and Mcarbo striker sleeve kit. Loving it. New sub

What port are you getting from Floyd’s custom? I heard they have 2 different ports for the hellcat pro!! Also if you already got it don’t how did it turn out??

Which shoots better between the HCP and Macro? I have a 365 ported and with an Icarus grip. I used to have a Hellcat pro but thinking of getting another, porting it and selling the Sig
So they both shoot great. I like the sig more but I like the safety on the Springfield. Really can't go wrong. Sig more parts and pieces to buy. Springfield has solid parts out the box
Have you checked out combat textiles grips? Still has seams, but an alternative to rubber or sandpaper

Hey Jayweth, I am really conflicted between getting the LaserCNCs ported barrel for the Hellcat Pro, or Floyd’s Custom Enforcer barrel porting for it. I love the crowning and finish from Floyd, but that recoil looks so much flatter from LCNC.
I personally don't like side ports. I find that top ports are the most effective for recoil reduction. Plus they are linear or inline ports so it allows for progressive gas reduction versus end of barrel ports.
Either is a winner and have their different price points and wait times. But you're going to be winning either way.
Definitely going with the Macbro
for now...wait till the Hellcat Pro is upgrade to match the same upgrades on the Macbro
between this the monsoon 7s and the ModK ports which one reduces the most recoil? Im trying to build the softest P365XL.
Laserblade and monsoon are close. ModK isn't there.Who ever you choose, tell them I sent ya and they'll take care of ya!
On a new pistol. I always rack the slide a 1k times, and pull the trigger 1k times on a dummy round. I got 2k rounds on my Tristar T-100 with a MCARBO CZ 75 trigger spring kit in it. Great trigger and where is the recoil? BTW not one malfunction.

Now that you’ve had a it back a few weeks, how’s it running? Any issues…in the end would you say it was worth porting?
The porting is excellent. No failures or malfunctions and it does a great job of reducing the felt recoil. It makes it a more enjoyable shooting experience. And the folks at LaserBladeCnc are super to work with

I kind of don’t want to change the original od green on my HCP so I’m wondering if I can just leave it cut bare?
You should get it blued at the very least to prevent rust.

Yea that's just normal for porting the front sight gets carbon build up. But I chalk it up being threat focused it's a non issue. And run a reddot 😅

How much performance are u loosing with the ports that closes to the chamber, it has to be quit a bit
Performance loss is minimal. Accuracy is great. Velocity is good. No issues at a defensive distance. Velocity reduction only is noticeable at further distances. Such as 60 yard and further. Which is a low percentage range to engage threats.
