- Happy Navratri! Golu at our place, with a south Indian village theme.
The dolls were bought. Rest of the project is hand made, using common art and craft materials such as foam board, play dough, plaster of paris, acrylic paint etc. The paddy field is mimicked by using artificial grass turf. The thatched roofs were created using dry leaves.

Fantastic golu.. loved your side gramam scene.. the best aspects are the realistic fine touches like, thidappam, kalloral, ammi, saree thamboolam and so many other things, kolam too ! Thanks for sharing! 1)how did you create the base of the diaroma, is there clay and plaster involved? , 2) how are the houses looking like sunnambu walls, are they styrofoam with paint? 3) did you use clay to make all the tiny household things? 4) can you put videos on how you did the tiny things? 5) how did you do the roofs ?
