    one small Typo. It's called "Eldorado National Foreset" not "Elderado National Forest. still great work and thank you.

    I think a system of helium-filled balloons monitoring large sections of land might be able to deliver data quicker. You could even attach drones to them so if something is detected, it can be remotely or auto-piloted. There are some other methods/more sophisticated systems I think maybe be useful to handling fires promptly.
