I am glad to see more of these videos on the Typhoon 230/330 thanks . I just purchased the 230 and it has no manual, Everlast said they will be in after the new year .
I use a dynasty at the school I went to and It was an older 200 dx but brand new I used it for probably total around 40 hrs and the high frequency already went out nice machine but not worth the $ in my opinion so when it came to buying my own machine I bought a 230 typhoon love it.
We mentioned the spot setting towards the end of the main page settings. It’s a timing setting for on time, and pause between arcs, without lifting off the pedal or a finger switch
We ha e several dealers in Europe so parts would be easy. For repairs, we build our machines to be very user friendly for repairs, most repairs can be made in just a few minutes with nothing more than a screw driver. Looks like flying aircraft would be much easier. LOL Great looking machine, but man with so many settings my head will spin. Love my Everlast 210 EXT for now.
Little little more control of the arc, dc pulse wave shape, higher AC frequency and pulse frequency, spot/cold weld timer…. Lot of added features for the guys that are looking for total control of every aspect
Brother, being the owner of an Everlast tig machine and a Dynasty 280, there really is not much of a difference at the tig torch. Remember, before you get brainwashed by the Almighty true blue Miller. Electricity comes out of an outlet on the wall, it travels through the welder, there is not much you can do to electricity , to make one welder better than any other. Millers break down as often as any welder.
There is not much you can do with electricity? ROFL, yeah you are right, not much at all except form an entirely new civilisation. Trust me, there is a BIG difference in internal circuitry, the chinese ones like the Everlast will be using chinese components, not the reliable big names like IR, infineon, ST etc. Industry wont pay for expensive machines if they didn't think they were reliable.
@engjds as a business owner, I can buy 3 everlast welders for every Miller of the same level. I have been an everlast owner for 10+ years now and the only issue i ever had was due to a dropped unit. Clear choice for me.
My welding school is drowning in Blue and Red welders that drive us all crazy. Please won't you save us with some donations? You should really think about donating small numbers of machines to schools. Anytime an impressionable young welder can see your product head to head with these overpriced dinosaurs it's a win for you. Every school should have 3-5 Green booths that everybody gets up early to get to first! Full disclosure: Fronius had this idea first but nobody can figure their machines out. They're all displaying some kinda crazy error messages every time you strike an arc
Miller is garbage...my dynasty 280dx has less than 24 hours on it. Boards burnt up. Cooler went out and then caught on fire while I was welding. Miller isn't going to warranty it. Go figure it's just out of warranty. 14k paper weight rig set up.

Why would someone Prefer the Typhoon 330 over the powertig 325ext??
