Weylie and Wah grew together so much from the beginning till now, like old school Weylie would never thought of having chickens! I love how much they've grown and I CANNOT wait till they get married!!!!

i grew up having chickens and i miss having them so much!! when you get them as chicks, they get so close to you and you can teach them tricks. i used to have a rooster who would fly up onto my arm and dance 😭

🙋🏻♀️ I have smelly armpits too! Now that I’m at home all the time, I’ve been replacing my deodorant with apple cider vinegar and giiiirrrrllll! I swear the smell is gone. Dilute the ACV with water, pour it into a spray bottle, and spray it onto your armpits after your shower. Life.Changing!

I have to wear my hair in pigtail plats sometimes because I'm a biker and it's how I keep my hair protected when I ride and sometimes I do it anyway because I think it looks cute!

Completely off the grid?! Thats's a pretty stark contrast to your current life, but I'm all for it! We have a small house and a bigger garden next to the forest, and plan to grow as many veg as possible. We considered chicken too, but they kinda destroy the ground and insect life. Also, all neighbors have them and give us their eggs. We'll probably get rabbits tho, their poop is great for veg/compost! Also they eat all the salad scraps etc..and are cute pets for our kids. We have a pond with the most lovely toads there habe ever been, I adore them. They sing beautifully every evening.

Mint only in pots, of you'll have a mint garden ;) but you can harvest and dry it easily, I put it in tin boxes for gifts (just make sure they don't already have it in their garden)

Not sure if this helps, but it works for me. Odour in your armpits are caused by the byproduct of the bacteria that live there. So when you shower/wash use an antibacterial solution. Then between showers use your deodorants. But you need to sanitise and not just wash.

ALSOOOO I use lemon straight up rub it under my armpits and it helps A LOTTTT with smell! The only thing it doesn't help me with is sweat. I sweat so much, I do want to find something that is more natural for sweat but, I don't think there is anything natural to help with sweat..

As soon as you first planted that mint In the ground I knew you’d be in for a bad surprise! 🤣 they’re the devil that takes over everything. You should try to get rid of all of it, pull out all the roots and repot some of it in a pot or it’ll haunt you and your garden forever until nothing else but it remains.
One fun fact I learned about chickens from my 12-year-old cousin is: When you hear the chicken scream at 1:46, it means they are laying an egg, if you scare them, they will suck the egg back in. I didn't believe her, after the chicken she had quiet, she comes in the house and goes "You want a fresh egg?!" *MINDBLOWN*
Lol depending on the breed, the egg color will be different. The red ones make the light brown eggs and the brown colored (easter egger breed?) makes the light green eggs.

Put Apple cider vinegar for two week with u get out of the shower , then let it dry after that apply ur natural deodorant that’s should help help u . Oh Lime works too because it’s citrusy . Hope that helps .

You probably threw them out already... but the huuuge tubey green onions can be used to flavor stock! I use the cuts (besides rotten or bad) that most would throw away to make stock. Even being added to water before making any soup type recipe adds flavor! (Its what I like to call quick stock)

I'm sure you did your research before buying aloe vera, but make sure to tend to them often since they grow like wildfire! My dad has to eventually get rid of his because it was growing where our other plants were...

I know the Natives are supposed to be vegan and organic, but they made me break out in rashes SO bad! I had so much faith on them too. I got the lavender/rose one. I am not sure why. My daughter got it and loves it.
That happened to my mom too! It might be the baking soda causing that. I use the sensitive skin version :)

Our chickens give us different sizes of eggs as well of color. It’s very interesting but we love to eat fresh eggs!!
