Hi! Congrats on getting into your college. I have some questions for you below, please bear with me. (Worried rising senior in high school) How does the QuestBridge application work? Are the common app prompts already incorporated into the QuestBridge app? And what about each college’s supplemental essay (how do we submit that)? Do you get notified of admissions on a different date than non-QuestBridge applicants? I only found out about this program after watching several college reaction videos on UA-cam. Don’t know if I should apply because the deadline 9/27 is a little rushed for me to request letters of rec from my teacher. It’s usually a courtesy to allow 3 months for them to write. Any advice?
The Quest Bridge Application intends to focus on holistically evaluating applicant circumstance. The application has its own specific applications questions from the common app questions. If you are not chosen for the National College Match they give students the opportunity to still apply through the Quest Bridge program but for either early or regular decision. This is when you would have to answer the common app supplemental essay. Admissions notification are sent out at once regardless of the individual schools' notification date. I think you should definitely apply for this program. It is not too late. I started the application two weeks before the application was due. I am sure your teachers will understand the time crunch. The sooner you can ask them the better. My "How to Get Scholarships" video goes more in depth on how to go about asking for recommendations. I hope this was helpful and please keep me updated if you do decide to apply for the program.
Thanks for the video. I have a question that is the USA citizenship necessary for high school juniors? Are there places available for international students?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Hello, my name is David and i am from Spain. At the moment i am studying at my local college, but I am thinking on going to USA to study Business, that is why i am taking the SAT and TOELF. do you know if there is any little possibility to be accepted at some of the nation's top universities? I would also like to know if you know how many international students does USC accept. Thanks
Hi David, Happy New Year to you too! I think you have a great chance of getting into one of the nation's top universities as an international student especially if you do well on the SAT and TOELF!! I looked into the demographics at USC and it looks like 14% of the class of 2021 were international!!
So I just got accepted TODAY what do I need to look forward to I don't really understand the process
Congratulations girl!! I am so excited for you. Please DM me on insta or send me an email so I can tell you more about the program.
I also got accepted! Congrats!
Just sent my application and stressing
I just found out that I got accepted as a finalist for the College Match on Thursday! Do you have any suggestions on what to do afterward?
Did you get matched?
Some information needs to be updated. For example, you are allowed to rank 1 - 12 universities
Applying next year when I'm a junior!
