Hey all! Grab a snack, a meal... this one’s a long one! Going through all of my makeup was so therapeutic but also traumatizing 😨 will def be on a makeup low-buy for the foreseeable future
@@suides4810 yeah that would be a nice challenge! Would you want to see periodic updates? My worry is that there won’t be much to show since I don’t think I’ve hit pan on much yet 😅
@@AllisonCorinne haha yea im sure its difficult to do that with some products. Maybe by the end of the year or part of your next declutter? But im sure it could make the lowbuy feel more active and fun.
One of the BEST declutter videos i've ever seen! You kept things that made you happy/that you actually use, but also were very "cut throat" about what you did and didnt need/use. Thank you for sharing and inspiring all of us to do some decluttering of our own!!🥰🥰🥰
Let's see a round 2 declutter where you open and group them to compare colors and formulas ... Bet you would find duplications that would make declutter decisions easier!
This is the first time I'm watching one of your videos and just hearing your voice, it reminds me so much of Taylor Wynn. Love me a good declutter - this is usually how I find new people to follow!
I truly don’t understand those who do not like glossier lol. The brand is my holy grail of makeup and truly have been the one brand to completely change my look on makeup and my self confidence.
@@AllisonCorinne oh for sure I totally get it. I’m my opinion I just don’t understand it. I breaks my heart a little bit everytime someone tosses my beloved glossier lol.
This is just so my opinion. I think the Butter Bronzer was really popular at one point because of the scent. I went through a whole Butter Bronzer, a Mini Butter Bronzer and half of another full size one before I realized I didn't like it and I was just wearing it because of the scent. My favorite Bronzer is the Hoola Bronzer, and even though it's expensive I will keep buying it because that's the one Bronzer I have found that really looks good on me.
I like the butter bronzer, because it blends, but if there’s anything that’s gonna make you (also me) stop using it is that physician’s formula is a bad brand that has offensive shade ranges 😭
Good job, you did so well ! Wow, I had that Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette, the exact same one and mine was so paned, used and beat up, I had to throw it, and ever since, I've been on the hunt for a dupe of the deepest blush color, that terracotta with a hint of sheen...gorgeous 🤩
If you’re referring to the instant pallete she has which is the natural one then a really good dupe shade wise for the blush labeled swish the stilla convertible in shade peony is a perfect shade match. However it is a cream rather than powder and bc it’s a cream it has that beautiful natural sheen that powder just doesn’t have. Also her swish and pop blushes are the same as what’s in the palletes. Over had all of them and all the instant palletes and the one that I think is the same as the one in the pallete is ecstasy. Try the stilla though if you want the shade. It’s not terracotta at all in the pallete either. It’s more cool toned pink. Again if it’s the pallete she has that you’re talking about.
@@Nick-ei8lt Thank you so much, I am indeed referring to the palette she decluttered (so sad). But I'm talking about the darker shade, the one above the fairer, rosier/peachy shade. The one I'm desperate to dupe is a terracotta with a reddish undertone, and a slight sheen running through it. I've totally used up the bronzer and lighter blush shade, panned the highlight and eyeshadows but I baby that darker shade so much, because I don't want to run out and never have it again 😭 I'm wonderinf if the shade "The Climax" could come close - no pun intended ? Thank you for your help !
@@andreapoulieva6717 yea I get it. Lol. Climax is more reddish brown vs the swish shade in the pallete. The two blush shades are labeled as pop and swish. The swish shade is the one you’re referring. Swatched on me it’s not even close to terracotta like at all. It’s much more pinky peach nude. I actually swatched them last night after reading your comment looking for a dupe and the peony shade is identical. I know it sounds odd but I swear it’s a perfect match. If you’re looking for more options the peach shade in the cover fx duo blush is a touch lighter tone but when you blend it it’s also identical. I wish I could send you my swatches so you can see them side by side. If you’re looking for a true terracotta shade I suggest the bare minerals bounce and blur in the shade buffed. That’s very terracotta but beautiful. We are talking about the same shade in the pallete however on me it’s not reddish orangey brown that is terracotta. If you want the exact shade I suggest looking into the ones I’ve mentioned bc they are the peachy pink nude just like the top blush shade in the pallete. Hope this helps.
@@andreapoulieva6717 that’s the one I’m talking about as well lol. The bottom shade is more pink. Trust me I have the same pallet and even swatched blushes just for this purpose. It must look different on your skin tone. But it’s definitely peach on the skin.
@@AllisonCorinne im sure one can use lipsticks like wax pencils, right? :'D a portrait out of makeup is a fun concept and if it looks bad i will have had a fun afternoon.
@@suides4810 I don’t know what type of art you do but I know some people will make paint out of old eyeshadows/powder products I’m not quite sure what type of mixing medium you’d need though. I’ve also seen people use powder products as like chalk pastels.
@@Chana_does_stuff you can mix powders with PVA glue or with acrylic paint and it works great. You can use them dry but it's a bit tedious. Have not had much luck using them as watercolours...
@@catherines2544 Interesting, I know I’ve seen people use something else to turn them into watercolors but knowing I have extra acrylic I might try that technique first!
