Tip for all aspiring sombras: If flank sombra doesn’t work and you keep getting shut down, sit behind ur rein or go with your monkey and just hold hack on their rein or high hack priority targets.
(I have 200 ish hours on her in 4k+ scrims and tournaments)

I used to be a sombra main with 3700 peak with her, I'm not as experienced as you are but that's what I would do unless they had hammond
I’ll never understand why someone so likable plays such an EVIL character.
I mean there's bound to have some character in the game that has to counter pretty much most of the bullshit that's occurring. Like Symmetra especially or Bastion. Mostly to me Symmetra because if you can put a Sombra there, and build EMP, it cancels out almost everything, even her fucking Wall that which is so annoying to get past because with Wall, team damage is cut by a lot and the enemy team with Symmetra will win in a defense or offense strat (depending on how well the Symmetra plays) because your team with you playing Sombra will be all panicked and they won't know what priority target to lock to after that EMP follow. Sombra is again the middle ground of Overwatch, where she will slam the hammer on anyone that she can hack her grubby little hands on to make sure that that character is not shining too brightly within a match that favors them ya know. Symmetra is an EVIL character too but with Sombra? Psh, unless you can Sombra effectively and build that sweet EMP against her? You will thank Sombra and add her to your roster.

It’s pretty bold of me to publicly say at any point in my life that “I’m a Sombra main” and ironically enough Fitzy inspired me to get better as her (even if I’m usually paired with teams that take my kindness for granted (because Overwatch and selectively remembering that it’s a team based game) but I was happy to see an updated version of this uploaded because I still reference the previous version, but again, not at all upset about it. Thank you both for putting this together 😌🙌!!!
haha oh man this video makes me so happy. Literally just got into an argument with a bunch of so called 'pros' in Discord about these hack targets and priority. I'm a Sombra main...I know who to hack...and Orisa isn't it! Just proves Sombra continues to be a character that few people REALLY know and understand how to play.
Reaper should be next! he's been changed pretty significantly with all the tank changes and his range rework. And his video is so outdated now.

One thing I've noticed about playing Sombra in Overwatch 2 when the enemy team also has a Sombra: you want to try to out-Sombra them. Try not to be the first to de-cloak; wait for the enemy Sombra to reveal herself, hack her so she can't translocate back, and spray her down. A coordinated team that is sticking together will instantly turn on a Sombra the moment she de-cloaks, and even with the shortened ability lockout duration she probably won't survive long enough to get out if you hack her and your team focuses her.
Ideally you want to out-Sombra the enemy Sombra so bad that they switch off Sombra and give you free reign.

Absolutely love playing sombra, but down in like silver/gold, it's hard to get hack value unless I'm playing with a group of friends. I've mained her for ages now, but these days I tend to just go tank with ball. Still miss playing her, though I do want to win games :c

The priority chart is pretty easy to learn by yourself as just hack the heroes that rely on their abilities to do anything such as Genji and tracer, and also hack the heroes that have annoying abilities like heroes with shields and support abilities

I have to say thanks to fitzy for creating these new tips and it helped me to play sombra better now! Also i love sombra IMO lol
A small tip that'll prob be useless. Since Hack's Radius is 15 Meters and EMP's Area of Effect is also 15 Meters. If the hack target symbol appears over someone that allows you to hack them. You can hit them with EMP! If it doesn't show it can't (unless Hack is off cooldown). I hope this kind of helps.
