I personally adore Ridley's Final Smash. Not only because it's pinning someone against Samus' Gunship, and blowing up, but Samus' Gunship is seen going down in the background after the Final Smash. Little touches.
Ridley ‘s final is a spectacular display of savagery, and my favorite move of his is his Ariel side b , he grabs people and slam dunks them of the screen , just ...............mmmm~. Micheal Jordan would be so proud, my GOD that is so satisfying.
Mega Man’s final smash is my favorite one. Might be my bias for the franchise, but the fact that they put in other versions of the Blue Bomber in, as well as Proto Man and Bass, it’s hard not to appreciate it!
The animations for these final smashes are really well done sakurai and his workers should be really proud for working really hard and giving us a pretty and good game
Aadrian S I only have one small complaint with the new final smashes, some of them go by a bit too quickly. Especially the big cinematic supers which I would’ve liked to go on a bit longer like Injustice 2’s supers.
Alex Stidham that is true the cinematic super have good animation but they are to short incineroar is a good example it like a 5 second cinematic super
Aadrian S Ridley, Fox, Falco, and Wolf all have supers that look straight from Injustice, but they are way too short. Dedede’s final smash in ultimate felt just right with how long it lasts, and plenty of content all the way through. K.Rool’s final smash is perfection but could’ve gone further with something happening before the laser.
@@Xifihas The competitive side is always a salty bunch and always will be, half of them don't respect this game as a true fighting game, the others complain how things aren't standardized.

It took me this long to realize something cool. Charizard unleashes 5 Fire Blast attacks during Triple Finish, which is equal to the move's base PP in the Pokémon games (Side note for all non-Pokémon fans: PP just means the number of times a move can be used before requiring the user to restore it with an Elixir or Ether, or by healing at a Pokémon Center.)

Top 5 for me: #5 Olimar's End of Day #4 Steve/Alex's Boom house #3 K. Rool's Blast-o-Matic #2 Hero's Gigaslash And #1 Banjo-Kazooie's Mighty Jinjonator.

I just realized how many of the fighters just have the same old kick your opponents into the air and unleash a barrage of attacks and kick them back down with a final attack strong enough to break almost all the bones in their body
Yup, given your love of Mega Man and the Black Hole Bomb weapon from Mega Man 9, I saw your Number 1 from a mile away. And throw me into that same camp, because I agree wholeheartedly. The best part about that Final Smash is that it was created at a time when Capcom didn't seem to give a shit about the character (or at least being too doubtful about being able to create a new game without Inafune).

I honestly miss character-based countdowns like you had before. You know, Vampires, Cryomancers, Card Fighters, etc etc etc. So... were you stepping away from that? I guess it's just the path you have taken and honestly, your countdown's still good (and I can still get a lot of character-based stuffs from a certain other countdown maker), still, it's something I have noticed within your recent countdowns. Did I miss anything?
It may just be him trying to tackle subjects not often seen in other countdowns. I know this particular video's topic is pretty typical, but you can't really blame the guy for wanting to so something unique, especially these days.
@@cartooncritic7045 Honestly nothing wrong with that. It's probably just a path that he personally took. I agree with 'not often seen in other countdowns', but it all boils down QG expressing his personal opinion (Well you don't expect him to talk about the popular shit like some Blizzard games, because he never played those).... And he's damn good at it. I mean, it's just personal preference and everyone has that. I really enjoyed his multi-series character-based countdowns (aside of the hated characters list, which didn't age well), they're all still pretty good and unique. But like I said, if he feels more home in counting game elements stuffs, good for him too and I wish him best of luck. One of the things I don't like is trying to force my mindset onto others. Hopefully I don't come off as doing that.
If a remake of this list is ever done joker definitely deserves to be on this list. With a swipe that goes pretty far, (that you can actually turn into two swipes going back where he originally started just in case you missed the first time.) Leading to the personas signature all out attack. Joker along with three other allies from the game perfectly emulate the all out attack of P5. Jumping into the air as a flurry of streaks strike the enemies multiple times leading to joker landing 5 feet away from them and making a sweet pose adjusting his gloves as blood. (I’m sorry sparkles) burst from the wounds. To add to everything. If your damage number is high enough it’s an instant stock loss. And if it happens to be your last stock. The game is instantly called while Joker continues to pose.
Glad to see Shulk on the list, and even gladder to see acknowledgement of how Ultimate changed it to be less accurate. While I love how Xenoblade was represented as a whole in Ultimate, I do consider Shulk's updated FS to be worse than the previous incarnation, not only because of the impossible party setup but also because of the being even more upfront with the gratuitous and unnecessary spoilers. I may just be a nitpicky fan who wants everyone who tries a game he likes to go in blind, but the smash is identical gameplay-wise, so they went out of their way to make it a worse tribute to the game it's representing, which rubs me the wrong way.
Luxin Honestly that does kinda bother me as well, though personally I'm a bit more annoyed at his Classic Mode. The first 5 battles are fine by me, they're trying to reference the cycling order of his Monado Arts in Smash 4 and I don't mind that. The next battle, I can't really get behind. He fights Megaman which is apparently supposed to represent Metal Face. Honestly I think they should probably have gone with Wolf or even Rob at that point. Wolf at least has the claws and as for the robot thing? Just make him metal, problem solved. As for Rob, I just think his moves fit Metal Face a bit more. It's still not the best matchup but better than Megaman imo. And then there's the boss. It's just Master Hand, because I'm sure we all remember that time Shulk had to fight a disembodied hand. Normally I would understand why it's just Master Hand (it's just the boss they use when they can't come up with anything) but Galleom is also in the game and makes way more sense as a boss there. If you can't make the argument that it would represent a face mechon, you can at least argue that it could represent a mechon without specifying the type, though it would pass as both a face mechon or something similar to a fortress unit. Sorry about the long response that has little to do with final smashes, just needed to say that somewhere.
@@dicksonmattxenoblade6491 I can rationalize the Master Hand fight as representing Zanza, seeing as how a common interpretation of Master Hand is that he's the "god" of the Smash universe. It's a little bit of a stretch, but it does make sense in that context, I suppose.
Didn't expect to see you here lol. But yeah, I think that's been bugging all Xeno fans tbh. It's just taking a great representation of the Chain Attack and messing it up for the sake of adding a spoiler. Even if they were hellbent on adding a fourth member it could have been Reyn or something so we could get Shulk screaming "Reyn Time!" When he activates it.
This might be controversial, but I feel like it doesn't matter anymore. To me, at this point if someone hasn't experienced the original in some way by now, then they're unlikely to care. I Still haven't played XC1 yet, but I've experienced it thanks to Chugga, if it wasn't for him, I don't think I'd ever have gotten into the series. I do plan on playing it sometime soon, as I own the WiiU and N3DS versions, but I have so many other things I need to get around to that it's lower on the list.
Hmm.... surprised you didn’t make a joke about Blunt Fulmont (Valkenhyn’s Astral heat) during the Greninja segment. Or at least added it to the joke along with Ragnarok. But still, great video as always QG
Well, Biometal X is still just X (hence the name). Then again, he's technically a separate entity considering how he doesn't have any of X's memories (and I believe there's also some lore about him not having X's original conscious), so you could honestly argue it either way. Although, my biggest question is why Zero isn't there. I mean, he's only one of the most popular characters in the franchise! Seriously, if Protoman and Bass can get in, so can he
10. This one is a cutscene final smash I'm cool with. Well not just cool with, I like it. I don't know much about Xenoblade, but I can tell they were pretty faithful to the combat in that game, and I can respect that a lot. 9. This one is also pretty cool. I love how the general color palette is dark until the bright white attack comes out, it looks really good. I do think the attack from that other fighting game would've looked cooler, but it also could've run the risk of being.....what the next three on the list are. 8. I'm gonna be straight. I don't like this final smash at all. The reason why is because it's an exact copy of Ike's Final Smash. They changed the look of it a bit, but aside from that it's the same, and that's lazy. I know they could've found an interesting way to incorporate Greninja's signature move into Smash, but they didn't. And that's pretty lame. 7. Once again, this one is just like Ike's Final Smash: character gets trapped, goes up to the top of the stage, gets hit a lot, and gets sent back down. Any differences are just aesthetic and it sucks. 6. I'm getting sick of this. How else can I say it's just a copy of Ike's Final Smash? To be fair, there aren't very many ways to make Omnislash into a Final Smash, but that doesn't make me dislike the Final Smash any less. 5. Finally, some variety. And some dang good variety to boot! I'm glad that they not only kept the distance determining Final Smash mechanic from Ryu, but made both of them unique to Ken. They look good and reference the source material really well. It's good to know that better Ryu outclassed the original in the Final Smash department too. 4. This one's an oldie, but a goodie. The text box at the bottom saying it's super effective is just great. My only real problem with it is that Ivysaur is the only one who's attack will actually do much most of the time. But that got negated in Ultimate completely so it doesn't knock the Final Smash down that much. 3. Gotta agree with you, his first two Final Smashes were just weak, so I'm glad they gave him one that's not only good, but great. One of the best cutscene Final Smashes ever made. 2. Oh look, here's another great cutscene Final Smash! The Z-Ring is an especially nice touch. I don't have much to say about it because you said everything I could say about it well. Honorable Mentions: This one's pretty good, no complaints here. These one's do represent the characters well, but it doesn't do much for me. Poor, poor Ike, he used to have one of the coolest Final Smashes, but other characters took it for themselves. And the more characters did, the less cool the original was. This is one of the few transformation Final Smashes I prefer in Ultimate. They made it work so well. But this one sucks. Concept wise, it's perfect, but the execution has always been terrible. 1. Yeah I was expecting this one too. It's a good cutscene Final Smash, but I prefer some of the other one's on the list more.
Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but between my Torracat, Rubicatté and Incineroar in Smash Ultimate, Incineroar will definitely go up in my Top 100 Pokémon list.
YAY #oneyearlater ! Would you make ANY changes? Great content and so glad I subscribed to this AWESOME channel years ago which only becomes better anr better with every vid!
*CHROM* costume and *CHROM* get wrecked by Robin and *CHROM* in his final smash I'm not a fire emblem player, so can someone explain to me how Chrom is in 3 places at once?
Jokers final smash could be an all out attack just like from his game of P5, we'll probably get the Mega Man type look or Shulks where everyone form the Phantom Thieves gets a chance to attack.
Funny you should say that. Sakurai mentioned in a Persona 5-themed interview that he really liked the All-Out Attack mechanic in the game. So, it seems very likely. Though I also hope that Joker can make Arséne turn into Satanael (normal-sized) during normal play, of course. By which I mean fill up a meter that looks like the Phan-site's poll meter, as a nod to how Satanael was awakened in the final battle.
Bias because of my main, but I adore the Great Aether. Other Final Smashes I enjoy a lot were Pit's 3 Sacred Treasures (which weirdly didnt come back in Ultimate, Phos and Mus make more sense for Dark Pit because of the Forces of Viridi), K.Rool's is just hilarious to watch for the sheer insanity of it, and Blue Falcon's just funny to me. Mostly cuz Falcon got into the car this time
R.O.B. got the short end of the stick for Nintendo reps, i mean not even a single personal stage? 1 music track? come on! but his final smash in Ultimate is amazing
Remaking an old Countdown next time? Not the most original idea, but I can dig it. (if the Shovel Knight level get included, then I just jinxed myself)

But like I said, if he feels more home in counting game elements stuffs, good for him too and I wish him best of luck. One of the things I don't like is trying to force my mindset onto others. Hopefully I don't come off as doing that.
I hope he can do 2 countdown a month or at least one countdown along with a different video
If a remake of this list is ever done joker definitely deserves to be on this list.
With a swipe that goes pretty far, (that you can actually turn into two swipes going back where he originally started just in case you missed the first time.)
Leading to the personas signature all out attack.
I hear Sakurai is actually taking weekends off.
GOOD!!!😶
Sakurai needs a loooooooooooooooooong vacation now.
Donkey Kong remembered his jungle beat downs AND ITS AWESOME
There's one thing I love about Super Smash Bros and its this. Giving my opponent a Super Sonic finish!
Cartoon Critic I guess that makes some sense. I still feel Galleom would have been better, but opinions I guess.
What do you think of Joker's Final Smash?
Hmm.... surprised you didn’t make a joke about Blunt Fulmont (Valkenhyn’s Astral heat) during the Greninja segment. Or at least added it to the joke along with Ragnarok. But still, great video as always QG
I was thinking Captain Commando's Captain Storm (MvC1/2) myself.
Wondering where Terry's Final Smash would've been if this was made after he came out.
Somebody give sakurai a huge break!! Him and his team deserve it
1:25, What do you think of Joker's Final Smash
With the full moon backdrop, Greninja’s Final Smash could also be referencing Valkenhayn’s Astral Heat. Just a thought.
Mega Man's is mising Biometal X and its user still...Smash 6 fix maybe?
It rhymes with doom.
Seriously, if Protoman and Bass can get in, so can he
@@aionicthunder He is as an assist trophy.
@@shaneens1547 I was referring to the final smash, as Zero should be there
When you started talking about Fiora I had to close my ears since I haven't finished watching Chuggaconry's Let's Play.
It would be fun if Mega Man's Final Smash was the Flash Stopper and Rain Flush at the same time.
Honorable Mentions:
This one's pretty good, no complaints here.
It’s hard to say one is the best final smash when so many look amazing... It’s difficult to choose
13:51 Er...the same person that threw Incineroar's Poké Ball into the ring before the fight started...??
Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but between my Torracat, Rubicatté and Incineroar in Smash Ultimate, Incineroar will definitely go up in my Top 100 Pokémon list.
YAY #oneyearlater ! Would you make ANY changes? Great content and so glad I subscribed to this AWESOME channel years ago which only becomes better anr better with every vid!
Idk about you qg but when i saw greninjas final smash the first thing that came to mind was valkenheins astral finish
*CHROM* costume and *CHROM* get wrecked by Robin and *CHROM* in his final smash
I'm not a fire emblem player, so can someone explain to me how Chrom is in 3 places at once?
No idea.
It’s game time for the New Years!
Low and behold, All Out Attack is his final smash
at 16:39 what game was that does anyone know?
The Greninja's final smash is a reference from Sengoku basara.
5:House of Boom
4:Super Nova
3:Omnislash 0.5
2:Sealing the keyhole
1:Super Sonic
5:03 I was thinking of that werewolf from Blazblue.
Valkenhayn?
Yes, that guy.
I find the lack of Torrential Roar and Blue Falcon quite striking. But this video is still good regardless.
Now Cloud has an even cooler Final Smash with Omnislash Ver. 5. What would his placement be now?
Bias because of my main, but I adore the Great Aether. Other Final Smashes I enjoy a lot were Pit's 3 Sacred Treasures (which weirdly didnt come back in Ultimate, Phos and Mus make more sense for Dark Pit because of the Forces of Viridi), K.Rool's is just hilarious to watch for the sheer insanity of it, and Blue Falcon's just funny to me. Mostly cuz Falcon got into the car this time
Phos and Lux*
R.O.B. got the short end of the stick for Nintendo reps, i mean not even a single personal stage? 1 music track? come on! but his final smash in Ultimate is amazing
Remaking an old Countdown next time? Not the most original idea, but I can dig it.
(if the Shovel Knight level get included, then I just jinxed myself)
Jokers Final Smash,2 words: *DEATH SENTENCE*
The blinking green light of death on Nintendo switch happened and it's not working!
Competitive player here, we respect filthy casuals here =w=
3:46 hey its not April fools day thats one holiday later
Number 1: Is Capcom not giving you Megaman? Then we’ll give you Megamen!
I just saw that Battle Network had his mega buster on his right hand instead of the others on their left
6:48 everything is chrom in is Super Smash Brothers
2:46 Already did. And I *LOVED IT!!!*
In kind of shock that shulks final smash wasn't in the top 5
hey, i have the same pacman hat too
awesome, I would prefer that Richter would do the Hydro storm, but I glad.
