Your dad is adorable! I miss mine every day. He loved gardening and it's only recently, in my 50s, that I've had time to really appreciate my own and woukd have loved sharing it with him. You are so blessed. I am in awe of you starting over and excited for you. Looking forward to see how it all takes shape.
Thank you so much, I feel really blessed too! The magic of new beginnings is really at work in my life, as are the angels and faeries. I cherish every moment with Dad too... we have lots of laughs together, and I'm lucky that I have all this silly footage of him now 🌹xx
I love your ideas. Fairies and all the creatures will be blessed. I cannot wait to see all the blooms. For me I always enjoy talking to my trees and flowers. I think it's so cute watching Dad and Noah helping out. Loved Dad's garden teaching tip, "Think, think, think and don't repeat don't rush into it because otherwise you make mistakes and have to go back and fix them ." Tea party sounds like a wonderful idea to do with the little creatures, reminds me seeing little rabbits, birds and butterflies around in my yard. I would love to have tea with them. I think it would be fun. Many blessings to you.
I was so happy to see you were going to make a garden path with the broken concrete. Just this past week, I started hauling home broken slabs of concrete from my mother’s old patio, so that I can make a garden path. Thank you again for answering my question about a flower in your old garden, Whirling butterfly, I have been able to order seeds, plus I found some plants in the local garden centers which I purchased and used in the center of my pots of flowers on my deck. I just love how delicate they are, and how they bob in the breeze!
I totally understand the overwhelm and I am working with a decent backbone of the previous house owner. But you wouldn’t believe all the seedlings I have on the go to fill out my cottage garden

Your magical garden will all come together very nicely I feel. Witchy and Gothic vibes go well together. Did you take plants or clippings from your old garden with you? Or are you able to go back to do that? How long before your chickens will be with you? I love your dad and your dog. The pathway looks good with the meandering touch. Remember to take any grass clumps you remove for paths and then use in areas that you need to fill. Cheaper way to rejuvenate empty spaces. I love the fae folk in the tree keeping a watchful eye on the land. 🧚♂️❤
Thanks Veronica! I am definitely working on ways to weave in the soft angel-y pastels with the gothic witchy darker shades, and think, if I can pull it off, it will be epic! Yes, I have my grass clumps stashed away ready to go ahah. I'm sort of not sure if Hollyhock and Foxglove should stay where they are... I know they are loving their new home and don't want to disrupt them... but yeah, I adore them so much! 🌹xx

Aha he is a cheeky one! And thank you - I wasn't to sure about the brick border but, it is recycled, which I love, and it matches the house, so it is growing on me 🌹xx
I LOVE YOUR DAD! My husband is the carpenter-slash-electrician in our family and I am so grateful for his knowledge when I decide, "Hey, I think I want this!" He always obliges - lol. The manpower is sometimes necessary; they are built just a bit stronger than we are and that's a beautiful thing when we have projects that require a little extra muscle. Breaking up the original path to make a whimsical, fun one is GENIUS. Your imagination is so lovely, dear heart, and I can't wait to see when everything is in full bloom. As an aside, Noah's curiosity warms my heart. "Can I help, mum?" Love love love. Thank you for this.
Ahah yes, Noah is my number 1 garden helper. He is so sweet and gentle with the plants and little creatures in the garden. We have rescued many frogs, lizards and birds together 🌹 xx

i'm very excited about your color palette, Nancy! And although I wish I could see this garden instantaneously, I so appreciate seeing how it begins and all the thoughts and planning (and smashing of concrete!) goes into the magic.
Oh Lulu! Yes, I really wish I could hop in a time machine and film the 'end result' for you all, but alas, we have to adopt the pace of nature and let things bloom in their own sweet time 🌹xx
I’m so looking forward to following along on your new garden journey. I love Clause Dalby’s potted displays too and they inspired me last year to created a potted display in my patio. It made looking out the kitchen window while I did the dishes so much more enjoyable! I just finished potting up my spring bulb display…so much anticipation for what they will look like once Spring arrives 🌷😊
Isn't it great?! I can actually already see some shoots popping up and am sooo curious. I really don't know how the colour palette on the potted display will evolve, so it's all very experimental at this stage! Watch this space, my love 🌹xx
How exciting! So many possibilities with that big backyard 🌳🌷💜 I’m in my new cottage and faced with the exact predicament,a big wide open space in the backyard just begging for a garden. It fills me with dreams and hopes but is also daunting and I’m not quite sure where to start. I love your Dad and what he said about not rushing in and making mistakes. Very sage advice! I’m going to chose a few trees to plant and build around them from there. I’ll watch your progress with anticipation! Much love beautiful soul xx 💜🖤🍄🌞🐌🌳🌹
Oh darling, we can take the journey together because it sure is daunting! Plus, my bank account simply says no to every single idea I have ahahaha the fun of choosing a career in art, eh? Planning around trees is a great idea!! 🌹xx
I’ve found your videos have become a part of my Sunday morning routine. To sit with a cup of chai and rewatch one of your vids is the perfect way to reset for the week ahead. It’s so refreshing to see content so well put together, so creative and visually stunning and yet so calming and familiar. Just beautiful I too am in the midst of admiring my blooming friends outside🌿🌺 I am an avid gardener brings peace to my soul when I'm not with my grandkids❤ your other Garden at your other home was lovely I guess I haven't been watching long enough find out why you left it? I do understand needing a new beginning I had to do that some years back even though I didn't want to I had to🙄😍🙋
Thank you Kristin! I am right here with you, gardening is life! One of the main reasons I had to leave my other home was simply that I couldn't afford the mortgage repayments as a self-employed single artist with a disability... Australia is heading towards a major recession and things are tough. BUT, my new home is an absolute miracle, she is beautiful too and I am proud to say I am debt free. It has taken a lot of pressure off, that's for sure! 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_ oh my goodness that is an amazing blessing so happy for you wow!!! That is exactly what's happening to California right now everything is so expensive it's ridiculous. Congratulations on your new adventures that's wonderful can't wait to see more especially your beautiful gardens thank you for sharing with me!!!💜❤💜
All the best in starting your new garden! It's a daunting task to start all over but an exciting one too, as you have so many fresh possibilities. I found your channel a few months ago, at the end of our long winter here in Canada, and seeing your cottage garden in full bloom was so inspiring during those final cold weeks. I especially loved your goddess garden. I planted a few things this year because of your videos. Now we're just about to be in midsummer and meanwhile you are cultivating ideas for your garden next summer. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Oh Amanda! Funny, that episode worked some magic over in Canada and I think you're not the only one who was inspired in those wintery weeks. I'm so happy you enjoyed it - we're so close to winter solstice here and I'm struggling to find enough blooms to film and warm days to get out in the garden - what a strange and beautiful planet where we can experience this all simultaneously 🌹xx
Hello again Nancy ☺ (from the UK). Just wanted to say that your vlog is now my favourite and I really look forward to seeing you (I don't do facebook or any other social media but I like to dip into you tube vlogs occacsionally). However, a lot of them are getting a bit ?!!!***** ☹. My garden is also my sanctuary, so Im definately with you to re start/start new things. Its also interesting that we are going into Summer and you are heading towards Winter. In a reply to me recently, you ended with beautiful sister and I got quite choked. THANK YOU. Love, peace and bright blessings. NB: and your Dad's right, wear gloves for the heavy stuff! Lol. Take care☺ Xx
Awww Veronica, you dear little heart! What a lovely message. I'm so glad you love my little sprinkles of cinematic faerie dust. I completely agree that it is incredible that we are experiencing opposite seasons simultaneously. Send me a little of your sunshine, please! We live on a magical planet, that is for sure! I feel we are very like minded. I'm slowly changing my childhood garden to a more magical and whimsical place, still with my Mum's help and my Dad's spirit. ❤ I've been thinking too much, so your video has convinced me to get some hellebores. I, too, am finding forgotten treasures under things, or bulbs Mum thought had perished, but have come back from dormancy after years. Gardens are amazing. Thank you and Cheers ❤
I was so excited to see another video from you. You are so very inspiring in the way that you plan your garden with regards to colour palette, texture etc. I learn so much from you. I'm currently also creating a garden and all the work involved can feel daunting, but it feels so motivating to get to follow your progress and feel like I'm not alone. Love your videos and your poetic soul.
Oh Helene, thank you so much! You know, one of the deep motivations behind this channel was to create that feeling of being 'not alone', for me and for the other faeries out there following the journey. I have had one or two comments about 'just show the garden' or 'just show the house', so I suppose not everyone enjoys my emotional and existential ramblings lol - so I'm glad that YOU do 🌹xx
I have heard that pots keep the soil warmer, and you could grow them indoors by a window?? So you might just get lucky? I can already see some shoots peeking out, believe it or not!! 🌹xx
Loving the vision you have for the garden ~ hellebores and bulbs are among my favs ❤ as are lots of potted plants. Love the winding path. How special to have a wee tree fae to guide you 🌟 💛
I know... I couldn't believe it when I looked up. It's actually the root of a ginger plant which is growing INSIDE the jacaranda tree - so peculiar! 🌹 xx
Your dad is great! I can’t wait to see what else your going to do next! I’ve been gardening around my patio. I’ve got herbs and flowers! Your dad’s right you can’t rush into it. You have to plan. Thanks for doing this fun video!
Thank you, it was my pleasure! Yes, Dad is right, but there's a little impatient inner child in me that wants an ocean of flowers instantly hehe! I have to balance that out 🌹xx
My beautiful girls are still back home, staying with my lovely neighbours who are known as 'chicken whisperers', so they are very pampered. I would love to get them back one day when I set up a coop and run for them 🌻xx
I think I just came across a new favourite with your channel. Talk of fairies and witches and garden beginnings was like hearing my own ramblings. So looking forward to seeing your garden evolve! 💜
Beautiful video and excited to follow your gorgeous garden’s progress. I absolutely love your shirt … would you mind sharing where it’s from please? ✨💫💛
Thank you Mel! I am excited to see what I can create here too! The blouse is from Princess Highway but it is very old... I'm not sure they are making them anymore?? 🌹xx
It's going to be so much fun to watch you create a new garden! I am in the process of doing the same and it's back breaking work😅 My husband helps me but he doesn't know how to take breaks to stop and imagine what could be, so I have to lend him my imagination. I remind him how this is a process that takes time and in the end we are both going to love it so much. I know u understand. I love your new color choices! Happy gardening and imagining ❤.
Thanks so much, Serena! I just published an episode showing how the garden looks now, almost a year later, and the flowers I'm choosing to save seeds from - I think the colours are all looking pretty magical ❤xx
I too love watching Claus Dalby, to you have his beautiful book called Containers in the garden? What a beautiful book this is. Your new path looks awesome 👏 xx
Im so glad I will get to follow your journey from the beginning the soil already looks so inviting. I love hellebore too and planted some in my recent spring. Mine won't be blooming for a few more yers though 😞 Im so interested to how your new color palette will evolve in your new lighting conditions.
Oh yes, I was really thrown a curve ball by the tropical canna lilies in the front garden... have never been a huge fan of bright orange, but I find them so magickal (and their black-purple foliage is divine!) so I had to think of something... it's all about the soft apricots to blend them in, I think! Thanks for watching 🌻xx
Thanks Marcia! One of the reasons for moving was to be close to family, so I'm very happy to have my loving parents involved in the creation of this new home 🌹 xx
I'm finally all caught up and done binge watching all of your videos. I'm fully vested now! LOL I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed watching each and every one of your episodes. I have a feeling I'm going to re-watch quite a few of them very soon. I'm excited to see how your new house comes along.❤❤
Thank you so very much for watching all my episodes! I am going to have to 'get a wiggle on' as they say with the next episode, all about the Winter Solstice! The time seems to be flying since I moved into a new house - so much to do each day! 🌹 xx
Oh your garden is going to be so beautiful! The little face in the jacaranda tree was a sign your meant to be there! I was thinking Dahlias would look beautiful. There's a beautiful plum almost purple damson coloured Dahlia that would go with the colours you've chosen (I can't recall the name) I did the same in my previous home by digging out the straight path. Curved paths are more inviting I think. Best wishes to you as you watch your garden grow 🦋🌸🌷🍄🧚
Good luck with your garden mine is trying to hibernate here in the hills but still have a couple of roses some hellebore and begonias as well as daisy and funnily yellow California poppies that have not stopped since they came into flower about October last year I have been very surprised at that they might last the distance to this October at the rate they are going, now time for the big cut backs of maples and daisy bushes.the ginkgo has just lost it last leaves only a small tree just a meter at this stage so I will never see it as a big tree ,they are such slow growers but stunning leaves.
@@theramblingrose_ have the normal one plus a white and a darker plum colour would like more but waiting for these to spread a bit first, another thing that flowers well over winter well ours certainly are and would suit the fairies and your colour scheme is fushias they come in deep purples and pinks and all sorts singles and doubles nice little bushes and don’t mind some shade, two of ours are in a damp semi shades spot and have been flowering for months,ps the yellow California poppies heard me and has stopped 🌸
Loving your garden palette and plans! I have a new-to-me garden too that also needs a rethink. I’m fairly new to gardening and felt quite limited by the structure I’ve inherited but you’ve inspired me to change its lines and constraints! Looking forward to seeing how your garden grows! 💜💚💖
Good for you! I'm so glad I inspired you. Yes, it's true, I sat there scratching my head and looking at that straight concrete path for weeks... and then one day said, "enough is enough! It has to go!". Next thing is the bland fence line at the back... hmmmm think, think, think 🌹xx
I admire your gardening skills. I love plants and flowers but I’m rubbish at gardening. If I’m honest I’m rather lazy and lacking in patience. So I guess I will just watch your garden develop! PS your dog is gorgeous! Also, looking forward to seeing your cottage’s rooms as you get them the way you envision them to be!❤
I'm thinking the container garden idea is for you, Sally! It's pretty low fuss with almost instant results?! Even the laziest gardener could do it - I'll keep posted. Oh, and I will pass on your message to Noah 🌹xx
Your dad, pardon me for saying it,is the star of this video! Question: Will you be using any native Australian plants in your garden,or maybe some of the trees are,for example you named a tree around 8:38,a name I am unfamiliar with. I would love to hear about any and all that you might be planning on using. I gave all of my potted plants to my mom,she wanted to start exploring that. I did not give her my Bonsai collection, that would be a bad idea,as my mom means well, but would absolutely destroy them. They are a different level, because they are true trees!
The tree mentioned at 8.38 is the Jacaranda tree. Native to South America and considered an invasive pest in many parts of Australia. When their petals fall they become slippery and dangerous on footpaths and their mauve flowers look horribly out of place in Australian bush.
Awww... this makes me a little sad for the sweet Jacaranda faerie, just trying to make a home in a foreign land. I think she is still beautiful. After all, I can't imagine she came here by bird... we humans are probably more accurately the 'invasive' species, after all 🌹xx
Charles! My beloved dandelion! So nice to see your comment pop up - actually, I am a bit lost on which trees to plant and where... I'm thinking that rather bland fence line at the back could use a lovely screen of foliage... or creeping vines... but I'm just considering where I want shade in the garden. There are some beautiful camellias and magnolias already, I'll keep you posted 🌹xx

I've really been working to get 'back on track' with feeling into the love frequency and setting my sights on the future and all the possibilities ahead of me, after my last episode, where I decided that 'enough is enough' of feeling sorry for myself, you know? It has been wonderful and things, as always, just start falling into place when you set your sights on the positive 🌻xx
Ooh and isn't her new song fabulous?! I really love the energy of it!
Wonderful video!!!!!! Best of happy thoughts to you as you start on this new beginning!!! Your journal is so lovely and I am so thankful that you are taking us with you as you create your cottage garden. Kisses to your dad!!!! What a grand fellow!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for the kind wishes on a new beginning. I'm trying not to wish my winter away, but I'm pretty excited! He sure is a grand fellow, my Dad! I think he did a great job on the fence 🌹xx
Your new garden is going to be beautiful, just like your previous garden. I hope you keep enjoying the process. Thanks for sharing your garden journey with us.
You are so welcome, and I so hope you are right! I can't wait until the cosmos and dahlias are towering over my head like last summer 🌹xx
This was a very interesting vidéo. It gives some ideas for mine last year. I find Nice to put flowers around trees.
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it and it gave you some ideas 🌹xx
Good to see your dad again! He is lovely. Good to see such happiness with your family and Noah and magical creatures! Brings a smile!
Having Dad around in the garden always makes me smile! I'll be sure to include his cheeky presence wherever possible! 🌹xx
I'm a newbie Wild flower from Australia, Im in love with yr guy Noah with the blue eyes,
I APPRECIATE yr strength to start again ,Im with you on yr new adventures ✨️
Can't wait to see what flowers
And the colours you will explore !!I have a pod of the Jacaranda from My childhood home waiting for my new place ...it's exciting to start again ...
Welcome fellow Aussie wildflower!! Thanks for watching, yes, starting again is exciting (once you get past the daunting overwhelm part lol!). I can't wait to show the next steps 🌹xx
How wonderful to see your new garden beginning! Our house moving is coming closer, so your video gives me hope and excitement for a new start! I love your winding path and brick edge border. Your Dad is just the best - that shot at the end with your Dad’s cheeky smile, holding a pretty tea-cup just got me ❤️. Looking forward to seeing how your garden blooms!
❤❤❤ love for flowers,garden, green,your pet,,,also u n your fathers,,,
Mwah 🌹xx
Love your dad's advice for us gardeners, bet he measures twice and cuts once 😊 Your soil looks like black gold, I'm in the states with heavy clay, take's some tenacity to garden here too. I'll be joining your garden journey, as there's nothing better than gardening and fairies...well except doggie kisses.
Aha no doggie kisses for you, Wende?! He's a cheeky one! The soil here is amazing, my eyes just popped out when I was digging the fence post holes! I'm excited to see just what I can grow 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_
No doggie kisses, kitty rubs and hugs 😊. I’m looking forward to watching your garden grow.
Great advice from your dear dad ❤ It’s so wonderful to hear from you and take the journey with you to bring life to your garden. Absolutely adore the tree gnome. You’re off to an inspiring start!
Thank you Gwen! Yes, I think I've made a good start too... let's hope I can keep up this pace and have a paradise of blooms by summer! 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_ What will be, will be, and be lovely. It all takes time, although it is hard not to be impatient (at least for me it is). I always enjoy everything you share 🌺 💗
Love your garden path! It’s so nice watching your sweet dad helping out. He reminds me a lot of my dad and miss him so much. I love your magical creature in the tree❤
Oh Nonna, yes, that cheeky little tree elemental is actually the root of a ginger plant growing in the tree - how cool is that?! 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_ love it♥️
Your garden is going to be majikal 💚
Oooh I truly hope so 🌹xx
Ahhh, lovely to see you back. Its going to be a wonderful adventure. I love your dad, he's so funny. Big love Nancy.
Thanks Caroline! I couldn't stay in hibernation too long, even though midwinter is begging me to slow down aha 🌹xx
What a lovely place to garden. So very green. Your plans sound wonderful, such careful thought on what you will add. The Faeries are sure to bless your efforts. Can't wait to follow along as it progresses. I live in a desert area so it's a pleasure to see such floral abundance. Thanks for bringing us along and thanks for the bonus of your Dads energy.💜🌱🐾💜..You're dog is gorgeous.
Thank you Marilyn! Next up I need to think about the vegetable gardens and the rose garden... what to do with my goddess bird bath! So many things! 🌹xx
So exciting! And fun 😁 Love your passion for colour and form, and watching it become real is so inspiring. And, so glad you've got love and support from your beautiful Dad and the Fairy folk, and others, it really helps give us the energy to push through 🧡💜🩷🌷🌼🌿
Definitely! I think I am powered by solar energy, faerie magick and cuddles, Jaqui ahah 🌹xx
Good luck! It’s just so beautiful to watch you create something so magical. May the fairies 🧚🏻♂️ bless you and your work 💚
Thank you Meredith! It's going to be an epic task but I intend to have an ocean of flowers blooming so that you feel like it's a 'secret garden'. I am going to need another hours just for all my seed raising trays 🌻xx
Hi Nancy,
Loved this video!!
You've got this...a great part of starting over is a clean slate. I really enjoy your videos and your view of love & family!! Your Dad is a peach!! Such personality & skill! Your skill is exceptional, creative, great skill in editing, music choice, visuals, all great...reason why you were able to purchase your new home with your artistic creations!
Love the color combinations!! Also black furniture classy with all the wonderful colors that you will be adding!!
"Whatever arises love that" A beautiful quote!! Positivity and great attitude with your skill & support of now living near your family is a wise choice!
Blessings Dear One on your new beginning...and yes I do believe in miracles, May you continue to be blessed...on your new journey!! May God hold you in the palm of his hand for continued health & happiness!! And yes we were born to love & be loved!
Nicely done Nancy!! You've got this I am certain!!

Be well wildflower, and may you bloom where you are planted!!

Risa, what an absolutely beautiful comment, and I feel there are so many hidden messages contained within your words. A very magical connection! I have been connecting with the angels lately and your words have been a little spark of light to confirm I'm on the frequency of love! Thank you so much, dear sister. May you also bloom and be blessed with love and light, little wildflower 🌹 xx
Looks beautiful thus far! 🍄🌻 We are having hot Summer days here.
You are lucky to have such a fun and talented Dad!
Awww thanks Mary, yes I do feel lucky to have him! The fence looks so amazing - I can't wait to show you the final reveal when it is painted. He did an amazing job considering he is 74 and never built a picket fence before!! 🌻xx
Wow, that is impressive! Looks very professional. I love having help from my Dad when we are together. He is 79 but doesn't act like it😅
I will be looking forward to seeing the picket fence painted and next video. Also can't wait the book you are working on to be completed! Don't get too worn out!
Your new garden is going to be lovely. Love seeing you happy face dad and dog.
Awww thank you! In the next episode (premiering tomorrow!) you will see how far it has come already 🌹xx
i'm very excited about your color palette, Nancy!
Your Dad is absolutely Mind blowing 💙💛
Ahahah I will tell him that - he will love it!! He really makes me laugh! It's most fun when it's just us two hanging out in the garden 🌻xx
@@theramblingrose_ Ha ha do it , my Dad just turned 95 and it's nice too with the two of us 🤣 Enjoy Your Sunday
It’s difficult to find Australian content with elements of magical practice of this quality. Know your content is truly appreciated by fellow Australians, and that it really does inspire to appreciate the magic in Australian nature
Thank you for sharing your journey.
You are so welcome - thanks for watching 🌹xx
I got divorced about 10 years ago and I was a stay-at-home mom and wife and I never worked before and it was married for 24 years and he took my house so I had to start over renting I had never rented before so it's been a struggle so I most definitely understand. Heya hometown buddy! Thanks for watching 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_ Really enjoying the channel. Let me know if you need any help with this amazing new venture
I'm sure your garden will be wonderful! Your dad is awesome. Great way to re-use the sidewalk to make a path.
Thank you! I'm using all the up-cycled, thrifted and hand-me-down things I can find 🌹xx
Thank you for bringing so much joy and beauty to this world! I love your channel so much! Sending you love and hugs! ❤
What a gorgeous comment! Thank YOU for bringing so much joy and beauty to the world too, April 🌹xx
Yr Dads ...is wonderful

I promise to wear gloves next time, beautiful sister 🌹xx
I feel we are very like minded. I'm slowly changing my childhood garden to a more magical and whimsical place, still with my Mum's help and my Dad's spirit. ❤
I've been thinking too much, so your video has convinced me to get some hellebores.
I, too, am finding forgotten treasures under things, or bulbs Mum thought had perished, but have come back from dormancy after years. Gardens are amazing.
Thank you and Cheers ❤
Well said! Gardens are always full of surprises. Oh gosh, you just reminded me that I forgot to water the hellebores last night - oopsies!
I can't wait to see how your new garden progresses, you're off to a great start!
Thanks Mary 🌹xx
Can't wait to see your magical garden take shape 💚
Same here, Kelly! I'll be keeping you posted 🌹xx
I'm so excited for the garden projects!
Yayyy me too 🌹xx
So beautiful!!! I love how everything is coming together. That fence is just perfection💜🌿
Thanks so much, Bonnie! I can't wait until we can get it painted 🌹xx
Aw bright blessings to you! Your Dad is so precious xxx

i love your dad and your garden. i am working on my fairy cottage garden,, your dad, reminds me of my grandfather. full of whimsy and sage advice.
He sure is! I love picking his brains about gardening and just spending time out in the garden together 🌹xx
I am looking forward to seeing how your garden grows. I have wanted to put bulbs in pots like you did, but it's too cold where I live.
I have heard that pots keep the soil warmer, and you could grow them indoors by a window?? So you might just get lucky? I can already see some shoots peeking out, believe it or not!! 🌹xx
Thank you and your Dad is great 👍 😊 have a great weekend 😀
Aha thank you! He's a keeper 🌹xx
🌹 xx
Ahh - what a sweet girl with her sweet pup and her sweet dad! What fun lies ahead! 🌹
You are so kind! Thank you from all three of us 🌹 xx

Awww that's great, I'm so glad this has put a spring in your step! I truly did stare at the boring lawn for a long time not knowing where to start 🌻xx
You are my absolute favorite youtuber, i feel like we are kindered spirits, im so glad i found your beautiful videos!! Sending you much love

Wow, thank you, Rosanna! I think we are kindred spirits too! So lovely to 'meet' you and sending you the love right back 🌹xx
I too love watching Claus Dalby, to you have his beautiful book called Containers in the garden? What a beautiful book this is. Your new path looks awesome 👏 xx
Oh Wendy, no, but it is on 'the list' of books in my shopping cart. Would love a copy of this one. Thanks for watching 🌹xx
I love your dad. This video is very special. ❤
Awww, thank you Robin! I do cherish my 'Dad episodes' so much 🌹 xx
I can't wait to see your garden evolve over time! I'm sure it will look amazing! 🤗🌸🪻🌹🌼
I hope so too, I'm soooo impatient about it right now 🌹xx
This video was so enjoyable! Love seeing you starting your new cottage garden. And lovely seeing your dad be a part of your new journey 🌸
🌹 xx
@@theramblingrose_ oh no worries my friend like I said I'm going to go back and re-watch some of my favorites! Which, in reality is all of them LOL!
Oh your garden is going to be so beautiful! The little face in the jacaranda tree was a sign your meant to be there!
I was thinking Dahlias would look beautiful. There's a beautiful plum almost purple damson coloured Dahlia that would go with the colours you've chosen (I can't recall the name)
I did the same in my previous home by digging out the straight path. Curved paths are more inviting I think.
Best wishes to you as you watch your garden grow 🦋🌸🌷🍄🧚
Thank you so very much! Yes, I felt instantly better once the path was corrected... it just feels more natural and wild already 🌹 xx
The ideas sound gorgeous. Well done on making a big structural start ✨🌙✨
Thank you! Yes, we have the bones of the garden in place now... just a few more structural changes and she's ready to bloom 🌹xx
Your dad is precious - he reminds me of my Uncle Smith.
Awww he sure is! Hi Uncle Smith! 🌹xx

So nice of you! Thank you 🌹xx
I love your videos. So peaceful and beautiful. I'll be following you all the way.
Thanks so much, Joanne 🌹xx
Good luck with your garden mine is trying to hibernate here in the hills but still have a couple of roses some hellebore and begonias as well as daisy and funnily yellow California poppies that have not stopped since they came into flower about October last year I have been very surprised at that they might last the distance to this October at the rate they are going, now time for the big cut backs of maples and daisy bushes.the ginkgo has just lost it last leaves only a small tree just a meter at this stage so I will never see it as a big tree ,they are such slow growers but stunning leaves.
Wow Elizabeth, your garden sounds like a paradise, even in hibernation mode! What colours are your hellebores? Oh and I also love gingko trees 🌹xx
The path looks amazing ❤ so excited to see it evolve
Oh thank you!! As soon as the straight path disappeared I felt instantly better and more 'cottage-y' 🌻xx
Gorgeous and your dad is a classic 😄❤
Very classic aha 🌹xx
This is so exciting to watch. Thank you for sharing. I am learning so much from you.
Thank you so much! I am really just getting started... it's going to be a bit of a surprise how the garden turns out this summer 🌹xx
Oh I love your dad! He's much like my own dad. :)
He's a cutie, huh? Thanks for watching mermaid sister 🌹xx
Question:
Will you be using any native Australian plants in your garden,or maybe some of the trees are,for example you named a tree around 8:38,a name I am unfamiliar with.
Always please the Fey folk,be they native,or on an overseas vacation!

He's so creative with colour, right?! 🌹xx
Love this!!! 🖤
Hi lovely, enjoyed this video and I love your colour choices, I would've chosen similar.
How is your cottage interior coming along? I'd love to see an update on that too 😊❤
Hi Rachel! Thank you so much, I'm excited to get some new colour combinations happening with this 'new look'. The interior has been a bit slow to come together... am working on the bedroom makeover and painting... but I've kind of stalled since I feel it won't be finished without the 'perfect chair'... and the one I have my eye on is refusing to go on sale haha - I'll keep you posted 🌹xx
A flower i didn't love.... yes I have. Whatever I'm allergic to that grows in the side garden and that one plant that looks like Dragon's Breath (i just could not stand it's smell)
I do love the shape of your cottage picket garden. Very cute and whimsical
Aha yes, it's hard to love a flower that gives you an allergic reaction... kind of like certain people, huh? I'll let Dad know you love the fence, Brooke 🌹xx
Aww your Dad is lovely hehe the bee’s knees ❤ with love from the UK
Ahaha he is always coming out with those old fashioned sayings! 🌹xx
