National Anthem: Uzbekistan (Serquyosh, hur oʻlkam)

Officially titled "Oʻzbekiston Respublikasining Davlat Madhiyasi" (State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan), the anthem uses the same melody as the anthem of the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, composed by Mutal Burhonov in 1947, when the country was a republic of the Soviet Union. It was adopted when Uzbekistan gained its independence in 1991, where a new set of lyrics by Uzbek poet Abdulla Oripov were adopted.
