What category does Caster Semenya come in to? I don't think men who were born as men can or should compete with women. However Semenya is an interesting case. A female born with testicles, so obviously having the benefits of testosterone....

They will make huge losses by cancelling it permanently, but will make even bigger losses by plowing on and hosting an event most Japanese people do not want now. There is a fightback though. A New England college track athlete is taking the education and athletics boards to court to prevent the allowance of male at birth "girls" from competing. These trans athletes have won literally everything and has prevented or damaged the chances for some of the girls to win scholarships.

Test this 'him' athlete for testosterone levels and if he/it does not meet the criteria to compete in the women's event, then put him in the men's category.
They do this....but...the bar to pass 'as a woman', while lower than the average man, is several times higher than testosterone in the average woman...the governing bodies of sports already gave in years ago. It also fails to take in to account at what age the athlete transitioned,...by the time a man is 25 his physiques is pretty much matured and lower testosterone levels will take many years to affect muscle mass, let alone skeletal strength...and anatomically the difference in pelvis, limb length and so on, have a huge benefit for the male physique in most sports. It's just not possible to balance things out. Either we keep Men's and Women's events, or, we go all-in and have Open competition and accept men will dominate every sport...there cannot be equality of outcome in sports.
Why are the feminists so quiet on this issue? For years they've been standing up for women's rights. I've not always agreed with them but they've been pretty hard to ignore. But when a person who is born into a male body competes as a female against other women there's silence! Why?

I have no doubt that it is likely that should this be allowed to go ahead a woman who has dedicated her life to the sport of her choice will probably miss out on a medal at a time when she would be celebrating her hard work and commitment to that sport. That in its simplest form is unfair and unjust and as you state all in the name of political madness.
I thank you to for your dedication and for doing what I have no doubt millions couldn’t, however a dream will be smashed and it will only get worse I belief if the athletes don’t make a stance as the IOC and IWF are likely to see no wrong in their decision.

I found your discussion very pertinent and have referenced this clip to the New Zealand Olympic Committee. Recently 43 New Zealand former Olympians and managers sent an open letter to the NZ Sports Minister voicing their concerns .

As A Kiwi I am embarrassed this has been allowed to happen especially when our "WOMEN" athletes struggle for a fair go in terms of financial treatment. Test this 'him' athlete for testosterone levels and if he/it does not meet the criteria to compete in the women's event, then put him in the men's category.
They do this....but...the bar to pass 'as a woman', while lower than the average man, is several times higher than testosterone in the average woman...the governing bodies of sports already gave in years ago.
It also fails to take in to account at what age the athlete transitioned,...by the time a man is 25 his physiques is pretty much matured and lower testosterone levels will take many years to affect muscle mass, let alone skeletal strength...and anatomically the difference in pelvis, limb length and so on, have a huge benefit for the male physique in most sports.
It's just not possible to balance things out.
Either we keep Men's and Women's events, or, we go all-in and have Open competition and accept men will dominate every sport...there cannot be equality of outcome in sports.
