I was trying to make sense of it, the only similarity I saw was the people standing in a line. There was no food or chalices of wine on the table. I just don’t see it as the last supper. It feels like that blue dress / gold dress controversy. I did read about it being about Dionysus, but it didn’t look like that either. I do agree with you that content produced for the public should be done with the audience in mind and how they may perceive it.
@@cindybee9270 People can't understand, or don't want to? The very name of the scene, as per the organizers themselves, was about the "Cène" which is French for "Last Supper". What more proof do you need?
Bret, La Cene in french means Holy Communion. So tell me, that was not their intention to mock the last supper? I do think you need to be careful not to sound like you accept any of this. Do not be politically correct, my friend. Love ya brother
It WAS a mockery of the Last Supper, are you seriously believing it was the Feast of the Gods? This was in the name of the scene as said by the organizer "La Cène sur une scène sur la Seine" or something like that, and "Cène" is the French name for the Last Supper! And the center figure taking the place of Jesus, commented on Twitter that it was the "Cène" and it was her Gay New Testament! If you want to do your homework, please do it thoroughly, it was NOT the Feast of the Gods. You are quite late to the game and I understand as a pastor it is not and it should not be your priority, but at this time it is unfortunate that you are resurfacing the debunked theory that it was the Feast of the Gods.
Also and the feast of the Gods itself, is a depiction of the Last Supper made by a christian who was asked to do some painting and kind of sneakily did it in a way to remind the Last Supper. Not sure I like that painter's idea but that is besides the point. So even if it was the Feast of Gods (again it is not), then it would be related to Last Supper, although it could possibly be considered an honest error instead of a mockery.
Hey, I agree, and regardless, it was a total spit on God and what he stands for. Bret was wrong on this. It was an abomination to God. And if it was not the last supper then why did they delete it of social media? They knew what they did.
We (french) don't care . We're a christian country for 1200 years. (come back in 1000 years) We're the elder dauughter of the church. Stop pretending, you, as an american, that what you say is important outside the US.

@@MrTHEMADGUY 1- what do you call a "real" christian country ? the most influent country during european history regarding catholicism remains France 2 - we cared about it. 3 - tell me where god is mocked ? Good luck swiss friend....I now understand your neutrality : just because you don't have any influent youtubers :-)
How about you keep that in your country then. I will pray for you but i won't condone it regardless. I really think what you said is the main problem with people who call themselves Christian's, as a God-fearing person, I dont say wrong is right because that is a main point that Jesus spoke about to his deciples about the end times. You should not accept anything that is against God no matter what. We live in evil times, and the only thing we need is Jesus, and thats the only thing I will accept, not the world.

Christianity adopted others traditions to their own doctrine.
Go back to history and see how the Christian doctrine is.
