  • Rahul BOSE is one of India’s most celebrated faces today. TIME magazine has named him as superstar of Indian Arthouse cinema. He is a complete antithesis of what we expect from a celebrity. He is a role model for the youth of India, being voted in 2009 the Indian Youth icon of the year for social justice. Fearlessly individualistic, talented, confident and so versatile - a well known actor, a rugby player who was a part of the national Indian rugby team for 11 years, a writer, film director and producer, a prolific speaker who gets invited by top world universities such as Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, MIT, amongst others. Rahul BOSE set up two NGOs which he runs now: HEAL - Help Eradicate Abuse through Learning which is about prevention of child sexual abuse as well as healing those who have been abused, and a Foundation which works with children from underserved parts of India as well as gender equality issues.

Mr. Bose is one of the most cerebral Indian personalities, not just in the celebrity sphere. It is a pity that his voice and wisdom hasn't reached many in my country. Thanks for this interview.
