You need to Google "download and install WSL2", and find a link from Microsoft docs. There are more ways to install.. from the terminal.. from cmd, normal install.. you need to choose the method you want.

I had the same problem. I had to convert ubuntu to wsl2
using this command wsl.exe --set-version Ubuntu 2
For a full fix go into turn windows features on and off make sure "virtual machine platforms" and "windows hypevisor platforms" is on then do "wsl --update" to install wsl 2 then "wsl --set-version Ubuntu 2" or what ever ditro your using then 2 and that sets the defult wsl for that distribution to wsl 2 ❤

At the moment, for AMD works just on Ryzen processors 3rd gen and higher. It used to work on stoney Ridge and Bristol Ridge but they got old. You can go to my website and still find older amd images for stoney and bristol

Yes, but it's a low voltage cpu (the letter "u" from the end - 3200u - stands for "low voltage cpu) and the majority is not compatible with Chrome os. However, you can run Chrome os from USB, without installing - Check out my video "Install Chrome OS Directly from USB", from my Chrome OS Playlist

To be safe, you should go for an older Rammus version. The latest, in this case, is not necessarily the best when dealing with an older CPU.

Hi Artmann. How do you get the Sudo Su command in the Zork framework terminal, or is there a way to get root access with AROB10 or other Super Su or Magisk? Everytime I enter "Shell" then "sudo su" I get "sudo: su: command not found".

Getting wsl2 working was annoying so it was easier for me to just use a live usb of zorinOS that i already had a usb setup for and run the script
uually is easy to run wsl2, but having zorinOS already is also not bad

Most important problem is Google's update pollicy that ends on older Chrome laptops.

Pentium gold is kinda hit and miss. pentium is usually not compatibe with chrome os, but some had luck on gold with some old rammus/samus versions

Ok. So apparently, you haven't watched my video entirely because in the video, I clearly said that only CPUs used in Chromebooks will work with ChromeOS. You will not be able to install it on an Intel m3 CPU or whatever the CPU is because there was never a Chromebook with an m3 CPU. And please, for fak's sake, stop comparing ChromeOS with ChromeOS Flex. They are NOT the same. If you can install Flex on a device, it doesn't mean that you can install normal ChromeOS also.

i follwed this video and i succesfully installed chromeos version 109 on my chromebook that reached it's aue date last june at version 103... question, it says i'll get updates until 2027 now, will this automatic update like before? if not will i have to keep doing this in the video with the newer version
I'm not sure about Chromebooks. If you have a PC or laptop, you need to do it yourself. kind of complicated, but for Chromebooks, I'm not that familiar.

i can't boot from usb, i made the chromeos.img file on ubuntu 22.04 instead of windows, if that helps. when i boot from usb, it gets to the chromeos logo and then it fades away

Does this work with an old Surface Pro 2? I get to the point where RootFS is rebuild and patches are applied, then the surface restarts and loads Windows.

I followed all the steps but when i reboot my device after installation, it shows the ''loading brunch freamewok'' screen and it reboots (loop). I tried to reinstall and even change the kernel versions, but either did not work. I tried all kernels versions but the same happens. Any idea? I used woomax img because i have a Ryzen R5 3500u.

@@TheArtmann I could do it now! It wouldn't work only on SSD NVME (cause apparently I was using a incompatible build to my hardware). It worked on hdd, so I was wondering what could be. But then, I tried other build ezkinil and it worked!! everything works good now ! thanks 🙏👍

1. Check WSL Version
Make sure you are using WSL 2, as it is much faster and more reliable than WSL 1. Run the following command in PowerShell to check the WSL version:

If WSL 2 is not set up, follow the instructions to upgrade:

2. Terminate WSL and Retry
If Ubuntu is stuck during installation, try terminating all running instances of WSL:

After that, retry the installation.
3. Remove and Reinstall Ubuntu
You can remove any stuck Ubuntu installation and try reinstalling it:

wsl --unregister Ubuntu
Then, try to reinstall it:

4. Clear the Microsoft Store Cache
Sometimes the download gets stuck due to a corrupt cache. To clear the Microsoft Store cache, run the following command:

wsreset
This will reset the cache and open the Microsoft Store. Try downloading Ubuntu again.
5. Check Internet Connection and Firewall Settings
Ensure your network connection is stable and that nothing is blocking the download, such as firewalls or antivirus software. Also, ensure that your VPN isn’t causing any interruptions.
