I really don't think Eddie needs to be babysitted bye you mark ! He's a grown man Wether you think he is or not ! Like Eddie said , respect is a word that everyone should have in their vocabulary !
Mark and Eddie have been sawing for more than 30 years. The communication while sawing in between them is impeccable. Sometimes you stoops don't know when to shut up with your comments. SHUT UP!
Mark, I have a question ⁉️ You made a comment about the pile of sawdust being "hot". Is there any chance that the temperature of the sawdust could cause it to catch fire....?? Self combustion ?
Hi guys just settin here waiting for the Hospice nurse to show up and watching your video, you mentioned one of your viewers was celebrating his 43 anniversary, congratulations to him. I am 86 and on the 13 my wife and I will have been married 44 years, I hope she makes the 13 as she is in the final stage of Parkinson’s and not doing well. Thanks for the entertainment!
My wife and I celebrated our 37th Anniversary on March 30th, her 54th Birthday on April 3rd, and my 56th birthday is on April 12th! Life is good!! Thanks for the videos, love them all! Wish I could send super thanks, but I'm still out of work from my two back surgeries!
I follow an upstate N.Y. logger who has saw mill and logs with draft horses.Uses the sawdust for in the stalls. Has outside furnace for heating home and hotwater heater using the trim and has zero waste in his operation. Working horses with Jim.
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a work-hand as eager and that loves his job as much as Chewy. I think that’s some purty lumber comin’ off’n that stick. Thanks Mark, et al.
That black oak has some really nice grain. Pretty cool.seeing those layers of different woods. In the sawdust!! Thanks Mark. You guys stay safe and God bless.
Hi Mark and Eddie, I’ve been watching Helmsburg Sawmill lately as well as yourselves. What a difference! He runs 4 saws in unison and churns out boards in one run of the carriage. It all seems a bit hectic but I admit I prefer your laid back approach. He uses RED lasers which are easier to see than your green one. Keep on sawing. Biker John from UK.
I was a little late commenting. Grandpa was honored you made his year I think. The party had to be put on pause for a good sawyer to work his craft. On behalf of our entire family we thank you and your crew. 😊
That was a SOLID log and had some real grain to it. Nay, the Bus Motor cared not for it and made hash thereof. Lot of good boards for a Stop sight deal. Thanks, Mark and crew! Happy week and I don't think the eclipse will kill you graveyard dead! God Bless Yall!
Watching you fellas brings back memories of when I worked at a mill in Georgia about the same setup we had a debarker and a big wood chipper great job brothers keep up the hard work
Good evening everyone I moved and have been busy with my beautiful new home. I've been watching your videos but really never got to tell you what I thought. Sorry mark keep up the amazing work and God Bless
Hi Mark. Ed, & ZZ. Beautiful lumber. Looks too good for stalls. Ed is right. Red oak. Helmburg's black oak is golden wood w/ black grains. Both are equally beautiful. I saw most of our eclipse before 4pm. Then " moon" moved quickly away. People traveled to Niagara Falls & they were cloudy. We were cloudy about 4:30pm. Have a good Monday night everyone. 😍😊😉👍💜❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌳
Interesting ending with the sawdust. Have you ever considered parking a dumpster into the sawdust shed to collect and transport? What an amazing depth of your operation. Wishing you and your team a blessed week. Peace Mark
I was in your neighborhood St. Patty's day weekend but it was Saturday and I know that's a busy day so I didn't stop. Ended up at Patrick's, crazy time! Be well and don't look at the sun!
Hi guys, Henry West here From Australia. The 14th of April 2024 is our 50th wedding anniversary. Me and my wife Louise. PS I just love watching the grain come out in the Timbers you cut
Wow, Christmas come around your place quite often. You have great followers. That was a big one but nothing that you could not handle. No eclipse here. I am to far north and it is cloudy. From Wisconsin, it is always good to see you.
👍👌👏 I say that this wasn't an ugly but a good looking log. I like all the wood with "character". 😁 ;-) Might not be as useful than without knots, but is definitely more beautiful. At least for my kind of personal taste. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all of you.
Hey Mark. Great sawing video! That “ugly” black oak log did not turn out to be so ugly after all! That log was quite a surprise and yielded some absolutely beautiful oak lumber. You mentioned that a good share of the black oak boards will be used for horse stall material but will you sort any of the grade boards out of that bundle of black oak? I hope you set aside some of those clear wide boards and but them on stickers. Thanks very much for another visit to the sawdust bin and the loading of the dumpster box.
The mill I worked at has three tein band saws and a skngle band head rig. The sawdust went to several horse farms for bedding and the left over was burned in the drying kilns to dry the lumber. Those band saws produced around 5 to 7 tractor trsiler loads a day , once the gang edger was added.
I have recently been watching another sawmill, Hermannsburg I think, they have side saws topsaws, and other contraptions its real interesting to see what they do
So what happens with the sawdust once taken away ive no experience in a sawmill but the smell of wood cuttings must be amazing love watching here from scotland 👌🏴
Charcoal plant buys it puts ?additives? Only use lump charcol for cooking. I would eat marshmallows roasted over Goodyears and tubes of grease b4 briquettes.

Easy buddy, so much aggression. Life’s too short.
Go away

That black oak was beautiful. Great job sawing!!!! ❤❤❤
thanks Karen.
Great job by the crew. Thanks for sharing.
thanks Jerry.
Nice set up you have there. I have about 30 logs need be sawed up. Have a great day.
I love the grain on this wood. Very impressive.
Good evening from Lincolnshire UK.
good evening Andrew.
You should build a port for the dumpster bin and blow the sawdust straight into it. That would save all the bucket work.
Keeping the dumpster for months would cost money.
@@Orcinus1967 That's true.
Looks like 2 Wrestlers and their manager. Keep up the good work and I enjoy your videos
thanks Barney.
What a beautiful wood!!!
There must be 1000 feet of wood, only with the Sawdust.
Good video Bus Motor Productions
thanks James.
That oak had some beautiful patterns in it. It would make beautiful furniture!

Interesting ending with the sawdust. Have you ever considered parking a dumpster into the sawdust shed to collect and transport? What an amazing depth of your operation. Wishing you and your team a blessed week. Peace Mark
thank you , we sell sawdust to lots of people so a box wouldn't work out for us.
I'm wondering why no walnut in the dust bin?
Me too
Yes me too
it's bad for horses.
@@markgalicic7788 ?????

Hooked on logs

Hi guys. Just setting here in Colfax WV watching your videos
Hello , thanks for watching.
I absolutely love Red Elm. There mostly gone in my part of the world.
we sawed that a few weeks ago.
Why no walnut sawdust
If used for animal bedding, would make the animals ill, especially horses.
Toxic to horses
You need a Red Laser that sits level with the top of your saw!
this works good for me.
Wonderful swirls.
it did have swirls in it.
Good video Mark. You guys saw some beautiful wood. You ever saw any Birch? Just curious.
thanks Barry , we do get birch in but not very often.
"Nothing goes to waist here at the sawmill"......accept all those raspberry Danish and coffee cakes, in the pre-snack to our snack videos.
yes for sure Rich lol.

With this video, you can definitely see "Mr. Lazer". Should silence all of the complaints
he did show up good today.
27:49 why don't you mix the walnut sawdust with the other. Sorry if it's a rookie question. Love the channel guys keep up the good work
it's bad for horses.

that's alot of sawdust.
Black oak can not be ugly or nasty
this was a nice one.
That log looks Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars
Beautiful wood…
thank you.
I have recently been watching another sawmill, Hermannsburg I think, they have side saws topsaws, and other contraptions its real interesting to see what they do
he has a top saw and a vertical edger , this mill had a vertical edger at one time.
Just subscribed. Love you guys. Could you do a show on the cleaning and maintenance of the equipment? Thanks
thanks For subscribing James , we have many videos on maintenance . I should have more coming up.
Please do some quarter sawn videos
it's to hard to quarter saw on this mill.
It may not be better but it is more fun to watch.
thanks David.
