Harry never understood why people cried for her when they didn’t know her. She was his mother and yes she was. But she was more than just a mother, a princess, an activist.
No, she was a goddess who came down to earth and gifted all of us her light and warmth. She was genuine, sweet, selfless, passionate and otherworldly. She changed the world during her brief life and that is what’s painful. You don’t have to know her to understand what kind of person she was.

He says he barely remembers Diana in his book so probably doesn’t understand the difference she made to the world. The only thing I didn’t like at the time was William and Harry having to comfort the grieving public when they were grieving even more themselves. They were kids so should have been protected more.

This August (of 2022), will mark the 25th Anniversary of the passing of Princess Diana of Wales. I can't believe how much time has passed since her death. I was beginning 4th grade when this tragedy occurred and I was too young to understand the impact she left not only in the Royal Family, but throughout the world too. I'm 33 now, And after all these years, I now understand how much she meant to everyone and the thousands, if not millions of lives she touched. I'm from NYC, I wished that I could've met her in person back when I was a kid. That would've been really touching.

I remember I was an advisor working for Sky. I and a few friends from work had been to Alton Towers and we drove home on Sunday and all the radio channels were playing mourning music. It was such a crazy surreal week. The contact centre was so quiet. Instead of maybe taking 100 calls a day I don't think we even took 10 calls each a day.
I think because of the way she had been treated the public just loved her. I will never forget that week leading up to her family. It just seemed so unfair, especially for her boys. ❤❤

The doctor/surgeon at 5:20, in a desperate bid, held Diana's heart in his hand and tried to manually pump it to keep it going after it had completely stopped and attempts with the defibrillator failed. It took a while for the doctors to locate the seriousness of her injury, a small tear in her pulmonary vein. By the time they found where the bleeding was coming from, Diana had already lost consciousness and went into cardiac arrest.
