Had the pleasure of spending an afternoon in Tipperary Town October 2023. Loved exploring shops, restaurants and historical sites. Can’t wait to return❤
Ryan's great music shop , I purchased a fiddle there a few years ago. Michael/Siobhan showed me hundreds of fiddles, no pressure, just great service. Would definitely recommend Ryan's music shop.
Great Grandpa came over VIA Atlantic to Canada from Tipperary then traveled west and later down to Montana. Mom was WWII Veteran WACC she was a "Burke" I am proud of these roots, I play mandolin, fiddle and guitar. I am 66 and a Veteran as well.
My grandfather was from a village outside Tipp Town called Bansha. Should have visited The Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, drive up the Vee, I'm from Templemore side myself.
Nice tour of Tipp. I've got a close friend that lives there. We've been there a lot. My second home and the people are sure great. You should have went to the Rock of Cashel. Very nice visit. Also Coolmore stud Farm. The therobread horses are beautiful. Erin go Braugh
The structure on the ground which you described is called a cattle grid, used to stop cows from crossing over, but you're correct, it is also used to stop sheep.
Another nice town in County Tipperary is Fethard, which has the most preserved town wall in Ireland. It's well worth a visit, even more historical than Tipperary town.
Hi Ana, An amazing trip of Tipperary in Ireland. I appreciate your efforts and know more beautiful towns of Ireland. Take care. Best wishes 👏👏. Thank you,
Thank you for your vlog on Tipperary. I have been there, for it is not that far from the small town my Grandparents in neighboring Co Limerick emigrated from, a really small little village of Doon in Co Limerick. County Tipperary and Co, Limerick border each other. That area has a history of organized IRA rebellion.
Still affordable to buy a house over there Anna compared to Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow where it's ridiculously overpriced. Wexford and Carlow next to be also super duper expensive (if not already). Far better than Dublin those areas. It's more authentic and their main street is not shamefully full of Starbucks, KFC, McDonalds lol ! I hope you did get what you read at 10:30 "It's a long way to Tipperary" if you did not get it or don't know about. I'd recommend you to ask ha ha ha ha ;-)
Your video tour of Tipperary was very interesting. It would be better if you had an microphone that does not accentuate the noise caused by windy Ireland.
It was about 4pm on Sunday and I suppose that everyone was just sitting at home as it was pretty cold. Student area are much busier than this of course 😁
@@AMEditionYT there’s an Irish bucket list passport that you can get on tourist offices and get stamps on it on certain locations :) it’s called the Wild Atlantic Way passport
Just recently found out I am 98% British descendant!! Definitely want to visit Ireland as it has the best music and scenery. I also heard the food is amazing and of course Irish people are the most jolly!

What does being British have to do with wanting to go to Ireland??? Particularly given the history. You're probably a Yank anyway, and not British.
There is only one song about Tipperary from WW1. As the sign says that you point to. FFS.
Great! Thanks for letting us know 😃
