Good that you won. Congratulations. Next match don't be so cocky, learn from all the world no 1's on humility. It will bring you very far in life. If you happen to read this 😊
I disagree, single players must have certain proudness and attitude to it , losers lose, losers always goes for humility route because that’s the safest baseline they have in life they have nothing and they are useless
since he moved from msia to SG and played in our secondary school divisions, he has always been like this. at least i can appreciate him always being authentic to himself and not pretending to be someone else 🤣. but i agree, having over confidence can be a slippery slope. nonetheless, congrats on his first gold medal and we wish him further success. onwards!
Wang is being consistent with finals appearance just few more tournaments and he'll be a champion together with Hu Zhe An they'll regain China's dominance like good old days.
arrogance might be a good thing as it indicates the hunger and drive in him, something our singapore MS number 1 sorely lacks. While his lack of decorum might be slightly concerning, i much rather this than a lack of drive and hunger

@@nev4044 eh not necessarily. It can help boost a person's confidence and make them less fearful of their opponent, which are key to win. Which is why lots of champions have this attitude. Besides, arrogance can add entertainment value to a sport. So I think some arrogance is healthy for the player and the sport.
Why are yall saying he's arrogant? If it's because he threw a racquet, i don't think that is a good evidence. It could also mean he's just over relieved as he has finally won after losing all previous finals. He could've easily lost this one too.
