First I want to tell you that I don't speak English, sorry. This is a Google translation.
There are 3 videos related to the history of BABYMETAL
1-The first video is the song "Over the future" by Karen Girl's, Suzuka's first group, on Sakura Gakuin. The song is from the anime Zettai Karen Children:

Su is singing “ghost voice” on the synth notes using a vocoder effect. Hauntingly beautiful. I particularly love verse 2 when Moa and Yui sing the soft “on the border” in call and Su refrains verse one in response more-so as an instrument than a lead. It is a rare juxtaposition as Moa and Yui are never featured this way. We really get to hear their different voices as it bridges through those singe word phrases. . . Also, nobody ever comments this song was sung completely in English.. . . Even the One on MR is part Japanese still. A dark horse favorite of Kitsune and Megitsune alike🤟🏻🦊🤟🏻
This is some of Moi Moi's best work and it is overlooked.
This isn't actually a newer song, it was released on the Metal Resistance album in 2016, and was only on the western release of the album. The Japanese version of the record got the song Syncopation. It's a song that was only performed live once, in 2017 at the Palladium. It was pro shot, but the video has never been released, which irks the hell out of the Babymetal community. It was actually voted into the 10 years of Babymetal poll held to determine the videos that will be included on a special Bluray release that was going to have compilations of live performances, but then got removed from it for "rights" issues. The BM community rallied to try to get the only pro shot video released, and even voted for this song/video over Headbanger, which is really something, but we were denied in the end.

@@dontsubscribe6792 pretty sure the venue owns the footage until the label buys the rights after the concert, and in this case there were issues with some of the cameras meaning the footage for the concert wasn't really usable to make a complete concert proshot, so likely Amuse refused to pay them for it. Likely the footage doesn't even exist anymore, since the venue has no reason to hold onto it for this long

I'm a Japanese who has been listening to Babymetal for a long time. Babymetal has a lot of great songs, but frankly, I think this song is the best.

It really caught me off guard the first time I heard FDTD. There's a much more sensual tone to it than I expected from BabyMetal. Well, keeping you guessing is kind of BabyMetal's thing, isn't it? :D
FROM DUSK TILL DAWN is the biggest challenge in lyric history because the actual lyrics have never been officially published and I've considered it the Laurel/Yanny anomaly x1,000. The wildly inaccurate lyrics from that video though have unfortunately become universally used due to misinformation online and a lack of critical listening. The rarity of this song made it a national treasure for babymetal fans. There is no official lyrics, yet. Only performed live once and barely made it into any personal recommendations in babymetal media and reactions. Very underrated song. Criminally underrated.

Right. I believe Su sings "in the End" not "in the air" per what my Iphone says when i play the song. it lists all the lyrics as the song plays and it does make more sense. but again.... can't completely confirm.
Yeah, the lyrics are pretty suspect… many things are incorrect. There are a few videos floating around with better quality audio and Su (being older) has clearer English pronunciation.
Unfortunately this song proshot doesn't released :( I hope someday they play it live with the big screen and many effect, it would be very epic 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

I really hope they do this song live again, maybe at their Budokan shows coming up soon. They’ve only done it live one time. They’ve only done “Tales of the Destinies” one time, “From Dusk Til Dawn” once, “Night Night Burn” was only done live a couple times I think.
The only song they’ve made that has never been performed live, is “↑↓←→BBAB” which was exclusive to the Japanese version of Metal Galaxy I believe. Hopefully they do that live sometime as well.
And yeah, both BMTH and Skrillex have teamed up with Babymetal. This song was unmistakably written under the influence of BMTH as you discern, and when BM premiered this at the the Palladium (a Hollywood venue), Skrillex himself was in the crowd.
Great song i say it again because i said it before when Su hits that high note i get a huge lump in my throat and feel like bursting into tears great vocals from Yui and Moa as well just adds more emotion to this song .

I really doubt a lot of those lyrics are correct. As has been said, this was from the second album in 2016 so any link to the recent collaboration with BMTH is unlikely. This was the track that was on the international edition in place of the Japan exclusive track 'Syncopation'.
As this has only been played live once and the pro-shot video has never been released we only have fancam videos to see and hear what it was like. This song came out a few years before collaborating with Bring Me The Horizon. It's an epic album! You should check out Tales of The Destinies by Babymetal. It's by far one of their most creative, mind blowing songs!!!
Actually, they played with Skrillex in Ultra Japan 2015. I'm just not sure if that has a relation to this song. This song is only performed once (just like the Tales of the Destinies) so there are just fancams available.
It's like "Atom Heart Mother".

I agree this track is fire, but it's not a new one.
It's from the 'Metal Resistance' album (2016).
The Japanese edition had 'Syncopation', and the International edition had this song.
I was at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017, the only time this one has been performed live.
That was the first time I was in the audience for a BABYMETAL song premiere.
At that point, all of the other album tracks from the first two albums had already been performed live.
Once we figured out what song they were playing, we were all losing our minds. : )

I don't know how it's in the US, but I'm in the EU and it's not available on Spotify, even though it was only released on the international release of Metal Resistance in 2016. For people who don't own the physical CD it's like the song doesn't exist if there weren't these fan made videos. The lyrics are highly doubtful by the way. She definitely sings "In the End" instead of "Air", but I'm absolutely not sure about the rest of the lyrics.

Babymetal actually performed Gimme Chocolate on stage with Skrillex instead of the Kami Band at ULTRA Japan 2015. I don't think there are any good videos of it on UA-cam. This is the best I could find and it's a fan cam that doesn't stay pointed at the girls and Skrillex consistently and can't see them when they go behind his deck: ua-cam.com/video/eQp9Z-2IrCo/v-deo.html. There's a proshot of the performance that even goes behind the deck, but I don't think it's on UA-cam.
I'm not aware of any direct BMTH influence in From Dusk Till Dawn. The song was on the international edition of Babymetal's second album, Metal Resistance (2016), while the Japan edition had Syncopation instead. That lyric video should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism, because the official lyrics have never been published and there is no consensus among fans as to what the lyrics actually are. Sadly, the song has only been performed live once at Palladium in 2017. It was proshot, but the video was never released, reportedly due to some unspecified rights issues.
There cannot be any good videos, as the whole thing was crap to begin with. Just kidding, it's a matter of taste, of course, but I don't like it at all. It seems very uninspired, they basically play half of a BABYMETAL song and then stop it and start a Skrillex "song".

Anywho, this is great song. I love a band that isn't a one-trick pony. I don't know why all the hardcore fans of BabyMetal always have to debate which song was released in america, and which song was released in Japan. Who cares? I usually listen to one band at a time on at work on shuffle and I've heard this song (usa) and BMC (jpn) and both versions of Elevator Girl. And all of it rocks! What I find weird, is why is there 3 more albums worth of stuff on spotify for Band-Maid than there is here? Anywho, loved the 3 way reaction with Bob sitting off in the corner. BABYMETAL fans don't "debate" whether the song was "released in Japan" or "released in America". We simply point out that this song was on the international release - not "released in America", by the way - of the album, and that Syncopation was on the Japanese release of the album. It's not a debate, it's just to clarify why it's a less known song.
