Thanks for sharing all your wonderful tips! As a mom of three and a scrapbooker, I too have a similar system just like yours. I did your project 365 a few years back and from then have adapted the pocket scrapbooking more into my albums. I too am super busy and find using the small pockets quick and helpful! I love having everything together and all in one place! I'm not feeling guilty anymore and I don't feel like I have to old school scrapbooking everything! Wonderful tips and ideas!

This video has been immensely helpful! I am motivated to apply these principles to the 30 years of stuff I've collected which are in boxes in the basement, not benefiting my 5 children who are now grown. How delighted they will be to see their childhood artwork and treasures. Thanks for all you do to help and motivate us. Keep up the good work!!

I wish I would have seen this video a few years ago. I just watched this and the project life rescue videos, and while I learned some things from them and thoroughly enjoyed them, I realized that I use a lot of the same strategies that I have figured out myself through the years. Lots of trial and error and analyzing and organizing and sorting and purging. Had I seen these vidoes first, it would have made it a whole lot easier. It is nice to see others with the same struggles to document without keeping everything. Project life has made scrapbooking sooooooo much easier, and I am so thankful for it!

This was fantastic. I have a 17 and 19 year old and have not been scrapbooking that long so I have lots of stuff in boxes that i want to keep but have not touched yet. I don't do Project Life per se but i am finding it so convenient to use pocket pages and cards, along with 12 x 12 layouts, for current photos and memorabilia. After watching this video, i feel motivated to get out those boxes and make albums that can be "enjoyed". Currently, the cute art and school work in the basement is hidden and not being enjoyed! Many thanks for sharing.

So envious of your home - it's beautifully organized!!
Yearly photobooks are great, I'd probably just stop there. But wow you've collected years of kids scrapbook albums - AMAZING!!!
This video was very helpful. Date and sign. Scan and resize art. Pocket pages. Awesome sorting and organizing, keep it up!!! LOVE IT :)

Great tips on organizing, purging, and storing for enjoyment. Really like the tip on scanning and taking pictures of the children's work. Why didn't someone tell me sooner. I did save some things and now my children are purging many of the items I saved. Oh well live and learn. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

I have followed you for years, and I am in LOVE with Project Life! I only wish my Momma would've done something like this for me; all I have are memories that I'm sure will fade with time. She passed away nine years ago, and of course I have a million questions about my childhood. I don't want my little guy to ever worry about his childhood. Thank you Becky!

This is an awesome video & I'm so glad I came across it. I would have never thought to scan the art work and size them down, that's brilliant! I don't have kids yet but the hubby and I are wanting to start a family after being married for 2 yrs now and I will be applying this method of organizing when the time comes. I've been a fan of yours for years and love ALL your ideas. I will be buying a PL kit to preserve the memories/pix of my hubby's 1st deployment in the Navy. Thanks for all you do!

Becky, What an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G video!! You have such a way of being a "real" person & it made me feel that it really is possible to get caught up! I love that you revealed that you're not caught up & show that you're just like "us" :-) I LOVE your products & LOVE the process! I can't wait to see what the future of Project Life has in store for me :-) Thanks Again!!!! Lynne Greenwell

Becky, I am taking your Project Real Life class at BPC and I am loving it! Thank you so much for making my hobby so much simpler. I love your process to organize your children's things. I have 2 boys and my oldest is in Pre-K so this was the perfect time for me to start an organizational process. I love the idea of being able to scan his art and print it in 4x3 versions for the album! I can't wait to get started :)

Becky this is absolutely ingenious!!!! I am SOOO glad I found you and your system. I am in this boat along with so many other mothers. I am also a single mother so I feel like I have even less time to get these things done. This is going to save me, I will have to do it slowly but after watching this I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel (so to speak) I am incredibly inspired and NOW I can't wait to get started!! Thanks SO much!!!

Thank you so much for making this video! I have piles of my boys' stuff that I've intended on scrapbooking. Now those piles are so big that they intimidate me. But I now have hope. My favorite tip that you gave is scanning and reducing. Why didn't I think of that? I'm excited to get started on step 1 :)

Becky you are amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed this half hour with you, learning so much along the way. This all just makes so much sense and I bet you feel such a weight has been lifted now that you have started being in control of organizing your kids stuff. The finished outcome is fabulous and so easy to "Grab and Go" if you wanted to take the album to show someone!
I love the idea of scanning....to a more compact solution. I live in Greece and I would love to purchase your products.Best way?

    Hi Becky,
This video has been very helpful for me. I decided I want to make family albums. When we were little all of these items were not so accessible for my mom so now I have to go back and do the sorting and organizing as if I were my mom. It's a bit different do you have any tips for me? My mom didn't date anything. Thanks,
    Elizabeth

Great video. Question: After you scan the original pieces, what are you doing with the original items? I also saved full newspapers of my grown up children's birth dates, grandchildren, etc. I also have a penchant for writing names and dates behind the items. How would you work a ancestral album where dates, names, places are nowhere to find? Thank you...you've given me hope!

I love this video! You have inspired me to get back to scrapbooking. I have fallen so far behind that it seemed too hard to catch up. I now know that I can just move forward with this simpler solution. Do you know when Amazon will be getting the Cherry and Turquoise core kits back in ? Also, where did you get the white bookcase that you have your albums on ?

Becky....who do you use for printing off your 3x4 photos of scanned artwork from your children?? I've tried using a local developer & the artwork doesn't fill in the entire 3x4 & just doesn't look nice :-( HELP!!! Thank you :-)
