Will this cause humming and Buzzing in your speaker? I have a XLR from preamp to rca power amplifier. It caused humming and Buzzing due to ground loop. I was told never mix balanced and unbalanced connectors. I gave up connecting xlr to rca. Now, I am using rca preamp to rca power amp. Saves me the frustration. Also, I was advised to remove the earth from Pin 1 which is the culprit if I know how to do it.
So how come they sells xlr to 1/4 in store and never got issues because many times there is no resistors in the xlr tips now in this video all he did was turn 1 signal into 2 i dont see the big issue u there if there is limited channels ??
