I’d like to know why teams hrc Honda in the mxgp and usa don’t use the twin air powerflow kit..

Because they let dirt get into the air box easier. Plus you gain like a bit of power not worth it 1 hp max

@@moosatoor4926there is way less of a chance for dirt to pass with the powerflow kit than the stock set up. You clearly do not own one or have not used the powerflow kit on the 450

Another reason could be that they're using a specific design not available to the public or with the AMA/US teams, "available" under whatever homologation rules but is modified specifically to run with that riders bike.
One example I can think of is the Moto Tassinari system, apparently the R&D costs coupled with production efforts weren't worth the squeeze that the company was making and ended production to focus on the public two stroke market, but there's still a handful of pros running them...
That being said, Twin Air has won MXGP & US AMA championships on bikes using this product and design. Tim Gajser in 2020, Chase Sexton in 2022/2023, and both Lawrence brothers in 2022-2024.
