I knew there was a reason I liked Pat the Designer the most outta any Bears reporter 🤣 only guy that admits this being apart of Hard Knocks is a solid chance. I think it’s funny how most reporters say that claims bat shit crazy and impossible but then when you ask well what else would it be oh well we have no clue but it’s for sure not Hard Knocks 🤣 if Rome was signed and Caleb wasn’t would be when you maybe worry. Them both being unsigned literally screams Hard Knocks in today rookie contract world. And hey maybe I’m way off and it’s not Hard Knocks but for people to act like it’s not a good possibility or even a possibility is wild to me. My take, contracts are already agreed on just chillen in Poles desk waiting to be signed I’d say next Monday or Tuesday.
Also here’s another thing. Is either one of them even back in Chicago yet? We gotta remember the guys coming out of college have virtually zero off season other then the last few weeks. I’d assume they’re taking full advantage of getting some rest and having family time before the start of a long season.

I believe that Rome probably would sign but maybe want to sign his contract at the same time Williams does to show they are a dynamic duo.
I thought the NFL has a very clear protocol for rookie contracts if that's the case Brock Purdy should hold out for a better deal with the 49ers..

I don’t agree with the Jordan Love take! I honk that he will regress in his second year as the League will expose his lack of arm strength. Lefleur is really good though, so we’ll see how well that offense performs. I would have to take Detroit over GB when it comes to the offense side of the ball. The Bears and Vikings are in “ prove it mode”.
