What would be the technique required to get the front wheel much higher in the air off the feature board or such. I see some guys boost the heck out of small features. Looks like the front wheel goes way up as the bars come back to waist area. Can you please explain how that’s done? Is it basically just a hard bunny hop?
When a rider can jump further on a judder bar than you can on a jump.. you know you need to turn to a pro like Simon and a site like Fluidride, to get your methods right.
When I jump, my legs never really extend like that. I am balanced, but never get the leg extension. When I try to extend with my legs, I tend to feel unnatural and get off balance. I’m unsure how to push off with my legs and still feel comfortable and balanced.
Great to see, I'm going practice this myeslf, enjoying your channel much.
Awesome! Let us know how the practice goes. We're stoked you're liking the new content
@@Fluidride I'll feel like I'm cheating and getting free lessons hehe.
These are great Simon. I need to build a feature board at home.
The feature board is so helpful! Did you end up making one Jason? - Coach Kagen
Yep bump jumping.
Thank you both.
These videos are always great! Time to make some feature boards HAHAHAHA! Thank you ;-)
Can be a fun project, especially when days are short and you can just go outside and practice for 20 min. We're stoked you're watching the videos!

Just adding a bit more J-Hop or bunny hop into the featuring. Not typically necessary on trail, but fun to do!

Thanks for watching and for this great feedback 🤘

0:36 Fork on that Santa Cruz looks like it has 120mm of travel...
Maybe it’s me but it seems like the rebound on both bikes rear is very quick.
Both professionally tuned but look quick here for the purpose of what we are doing in this demo.Hope that makes sense.
@@Fluidride thank you, really enjoying this series

The kid in me want to turn my bosu ball into a feature ramp 🤓🤔

@@Fluidride the adult in me advised against the effort, so that’s a negative
