Kahr slides are machined from 416 stainless steel bar stock. The frame is a 4140 steel casting. With the exception of the slide release, safety block, and rear sight, all key parts are made from hardened steel. Premium springs throughout are manufactured by Wolff Gunsprings.
Bleh 9mm out of a 3.5 inch barrel....I would load it with +P for sure. Still I'd prefer the K40. I REALLY wish someone would make .357 sig barrels for the K40. THAT would really be something.

I just got my first Kahr, the CW9. The K9 is gonna be my next purchase, such a beautiful pistol.
You won't be dissapointed. The k9 feels really nice.
Looks nice with the wood grips. I’m going to have to look for some for my K9.

You lucky SOB. I collect Kahr, from MA and that is the only one I can't find. Have the newer TP9-2 and TP9 but I cannot ever find one.

I own 2 K40's and an MK40. That's what I carry and prefer over the K/MK9. The K40 is actually smaller than the K9 even though the barrel is longer.
