Hey loves, Today I share with you a more in depth video on how I do our monthly shopping at the end of each month. We hardly shop everyday, because we believe in the power of putting that money together and buying in bulk. It helps us ration better so we don't waste and we save more because those shillings do add up. We also save big with supermarket reward programs, keeping our redeemable points for the end of the year. In this video, I share how Carrefour is helping you save on your purchases with the My Club, a rewards program that uses the MAF Carrefour App everytime you shop. My club has 4 reward systems 1. Instore discounts. 2. Double discounts. 3. Redeemable points on discounts. 4. Redeemable points on total shopping. Start using the Carrefour rewards programs now and you will be glad you did at the end of this year. For those looking for my annual shopping list, it is available on my website www.manuelapmulondo.com under "Digital Products". I downloaded mine and manually made a checklist in my notes app. Looking forward to engaging in the comme nts. Love always Manuela P. Mulondo
Things like vegetables and meat are so difficult to keep especially with this our constant power outages.. I left those long time ago instead I just hit Nakawa market on my way home from work if feel I have the need for beef, fish, or veges.. but all in all thanks for being organised
Thank you for this video and the lists. That kyangwe and imperial do an amazing job!😊😊 Those are some of the things that are still good quality, they have not been compromised. Just like vaseline, I use it, still authentic and everything else has been duplicated, and expensive, there are 100 versions from the original and the quality overall is not 99.9% good. They come with so much caution, skin types etc.
Shopping monthly is always a good idea, for me I do every half ayear of posho, sugar, rice ,beans and then detergents.it has helped a lot.Manuel your loved here. Thanks for being organized.
Great Job.i admire you. i consider myself pretty organized as well. so, mine starts with the budgeting. every after receiving salary, i remove my tithe, Sacco savings, personal savings, rent, utility, TV first. then the balance left i usually remove some small amount i put aside for "miscellaneous", the balance, i divide by 31 to find out how much to spend daily. so if its 15000 daily that covers my transport one way, breakfast, lunch, airtime and i could have some small amount left over, during weekdays, i rarely eat supper, if i do, its easy meals like Irish potatoes, pasta, eggs, millet porridge, and bread. now over the weekend, still i use the lets say 30k for (the total for Saturday and Sunday) for Saturday shopping of mainly perishables( tomatoes, onions, green paper, carrots, some form of meat(chicken, pork, fish, liver, etc), Irish potatoes, etc which i call my weekly shopping) and Sunday transport, offertory and a little snack, so it could be like 22k for Saturday and 8k for Sunday. now you may wonder about the rest of the things, so thankfully, usually every quarter, i have a field activity or two where i can save from some money so after returning tithe on that money, the first activity i save the money for school requirements for my sister for the next term( my mom pays the fees) then the next quarter, i use the money for bulk buying things in the house like toilet pepper, detergent, toilet cleaner, box of washing soap, a few tablets of bathing soap, pads, lotions, hair products, teeth products,, beans, binyewa, maize flour, sugar, drinking chocolate, eggs, millet flour, rice, pasta, pigeon pees, tea leaves, etc. So thankfully some of these things can take me even close to a year, so i may buy some of the items this quarter and the rest, the next quarter. so i appreciate when in the 4th quarter i don't have to do the "quarterly shopping"because then i can use the money for christmas shopping. oh so its challenging when i have contributions to make and i have already used up my "miscellaneous" budget because i have to spend either have tea without lunch at work(make sacrifices ) to save money for the contribution especially if the quarterly income was already spent. PS;i stay alone
Upto today that kyangwe is the best am telling you Manuela hahah, the imperial leather , i haven't tried it i think its time i try it because many people talk about it. I just love the way you are organized with your shopping list. I always lean alot from you and your whole family. weldone. Oh i forgot to talk about the fridge OMG!!! Its so nice and spacious.
Sisss!!! Your authenticity is inspiring! But when you figure out how to arrange the lower cabinet, send the help my way. That's exactly how mine is arranged too 🤣
The trick for the area with bread spreads, you can drill those extra cabins on the upper cabin they're beautiful. Or you get baskets and pile them all in one bin
