You made me laugh with those recommendations about taking breaks when frustrated. :) Ah, the memories! We had to do a byzantine chain at our jewellery school and we were sooooo frustrated to the point of crying or throwing stuff out of the windows. :D But by the time we reached the end (some 17cm) it was much easier and even enjoyable in a weird way. :) Great video again, thank you for teaching!!!
Wow, I have been watching your videos for some time and never saw this one, I'm very new to making jewelry and I'm only working with copper as silver is just to costly to experiment with. I'm making copper cuffs based on what I have learned from you and people love it. I have made my own anticlastic forms based on what I see you use, only out of solid oak and it works for the most part, it works for me, so I make due, I'm 58 and never had to learn the metric system, so I get confused, what gauge copper wire size should I use to attempt making this bracelet and what kind of solder should I use as silver solder does not work on copper pieces, any information you could provide would be so greatly be appreciated to my learning experience and one day I too will work with silver. Thank you for sharing all your skills with a newbie. Thanks Bill
I am trying to learn Full Persion but I get mixed up so I am learning Box. Best thing you said was “you start out with 2-2-2 but then it becomes just 2-2.” If it kept as 2-2-2 it would be a Byzantine. Now I understand Box.
so I can make my own pickle at home rather than buying the expensive stuff? I have a pack of citric acid which is pretty much near its sell-by date so I can use it to get rid of the fire scale? What do I mix it with?
There is something fascinating about assembling this type of chain..always fun..makes me wonder how many years people have been making them and what they were like. .🌼🌻🍁

Hi Soham. Great vid as always, If I'm correct you can pre solder around a third. When you add the 2+2, you can use two pre soldered ones. Dave.
you are correct
