Thank you for this helpful and detailed guide! You've confirmed that we'd like to slow travel in Cusco and the surrounding areas on our way to Machu Picchu. Thank you!
Hi there twocantravel 👋....... YES..... you'll love it. That's how Jay and I travel because I like to get the feel of a place and staying for a week doesn't cut it! Have a great trip, thank you for your feedback and you are very welcome! Have a great time in Peru! 😊
Great video! 👍 and yes it’s definitely overwhelming when planning. Like you said so many things to plan with all these stops coming from Lima, Cusco, bus train then another bus. That’s an adventure in itself. Video was very informative as I’ve been doing so much research. Thanks for the step by steps! 🥰
Hi there Angeline Mels 👋 We went in May at 1pm in the afternoon. It was AWESOME! you'll have a great time! Thank you for your feedback and thank you so much for watching it. It means a lot!
Very informative! Where did you stay stay in Cusco? Is it safe booking on Airbnb ? And do you need 4 days 3 nights to visit the major places ? Or can you do it in less days ? I am planning to travel in August . Not sure if weather will be good. Also I am not sure if I should do a tour package. It seems very easy the way you explained.
Hi kattyca1643 👋 we stayed at 2 Airbnbs in Cusco..... keep in mind many people don't have heat in Cusco is a luxury.... if try and find a place with heat cause it gets cold! Honestly, we were in Cusco for 2.5 months and there's still lots we didn't see! Booking tours was super simple and I found for what you got, they were reasonably priced too! No matter what you do you'll have a great time! Thank you so much for watching, it means a lot! ❤️
Greetings, quick question what type of suitcase or backpack are you allowed to bring in the train? Or if you are staying two or three days in Agaus Calientes is there a storage locker in Cuzco for travelers? Any advice will be helpful. Thanks
Hi there! We brought our 45L offpsprey backpacks with us on the train. There's storage on the train 👍 Many hotels will let you store your things as well..... it's a very common practice in Cusco. Hope that helps! 👍
@lp7197 if I could add something, it would be that, backpacks are easier to maneuver in Cusco since there are cobble stone streets everywhere..... just wanted to put that out there. Having rolling bags, isn't the greatest. 👍

@@wattstraveling Thank you, I think it will help determine the way we pack how heavy or how light weight we will be going or traveling. Thanks again.
