That 427 sounds great and you say it is about 600 HP.I wonder what you did too bring about that amount of HP if you don`t mind me asking,Darrell.So the exhaust is different from other ZL-1`s you have worked on?You obviously do a very thorough restoration.Thanks for letting us see your work,Jim.
It is stroked to a 496 and has ported and polished Brodix heads and full roller cam and lifters. It was ran and tuned on the dyno. The exhaust is 3" Pypes. The engine is very streetable.

what exhaust and tips are you using?
Actually they built close to 69 zl1 camaros. When they stopped producing them, Don Yenko started selling the engines through his dealership.
They did only build 69 Camaro Z L 1 in 1969!
