Saw him make his debut for Huddersfield he was only 17 or 18, stood out a mile, one of my boyhood heroes at Leeds Road, Rest in peace Frank you were absolute class !!!
Great great footballer. Saw frank play at southampton towards the end of his footballing days. His first touch was MAGIC. WHO CAN FORGET THE GREAT GOAL FOR BOLTON .V IPSWICH.ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREAT GOALS. WORTHY THE GREAT ... R.I.P. FRANK.
Watched Frank play for Huddersfield town 70s he was one of the most skillfull players i saw at town infact anywhere very creative player and nice bloke
And to think a player of his ability only got 8 caps . Where as that talentless twit Beckham got 115 caps . And England wonder why they haven't won anything since 1966.
Absolute legend! R. I. P. Frank. Still my hero from his days at Huddersfield Town, even as a young lad in the Reserves, always value for money for pre-match ball-juggling skills. We even went to Hillsborough to watch him play for Southampton and to Asa Hartford's Stockport County for a mid-week game vs Grimsby(he'd suffered a broken cheek-bone a few days earlier so didn't play.... we were gutted)
A life well lived...sadly missed...RIP ( BWFC)
Love this 💙⚽️ His middle name was spelt Stuart x

The English Dennis Bergkamp ahead of his time... a little bit more swash buckling than the Dutchman
