Hi from Uttar Pradesh. 5th one is from Chennai to Mysuru via BLR. 6th one is from Secunderabad to Vijaywada. 7th one is from Patna to Kolkata. Also, railways has been constructing a maintenance shed [ 90 % done ] in Kolkata and they will be operating 3 Vande Bharat from kolkata. Currently Delhi has 3 VBs. Railways plans to operate 3 from each of the Golden Qaud [ Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai ] before this fiscal year ends in March next year. So far railways has stick to 500 km routes with high traffic so that it has a complete round trip within 8hrs/trip. Railway's logic is to have 2 vbs per section of the Golden Quad. Example : Mumbai - Hyderabad then Hyderabad - Chennai. Some routes stretch beyong 500km mark but Delhi - Varanasi covers 745kms in 8hrs, however tracks on this were upgraded. One solution would be to build rail flyovers at Basin Bridge, Arakkonam and Jolarpet. I travel often on this route by Shatabdi and the congestion mostly happens at these places . Also Bangalore Mysore section has curves which have to be straightened.

I travel often on the Chennai Bangalore route by Shatabdi and I find the passengers on this route to be the most decent.
