Great race by Daryn Pittman in the Don Kreitz Jr. 69K with his 6th place finish. Plus too bad Corey Day and Logan Schuchart didn't time trial well because they both were fast in the A Main with Corey Day going from 22nd starting spot to 7th and Logan Schuchart with a provisional 25th starting spot to 9th.
Larson was fast don't see blown engines very often

Those asking about the fans, they don’t use the backstretch grandstands until the Nationals, and the first couple rows on the front stretch are usually empty cause it’s a poor sight line. Everyone was sitting at row 10 or higher pretty much. Still a really good crowd. 👌🏼
Good information, I was wondering about the fan turnout. Looks almost empty in the video.
Someone should let WoO and Knoxville know they should include a few shots of the stands so people can see the crowd.

@@versteeghrt they usually do on the full dirt vision broadcasts, they just don’t put any shots in their highlight videos I suppose.

I’m telling you right now Knoxville needs to call Eagle Raceway in Lincoln NE and ask their advice because they have track prep down to a science!! Labor Day weekend they do five days of racing in 100+ degree heat with 60% humidity and nearly 260 305 sprint cars, finishing on Sunday! I’ve been there the last five years and the last three years they completely rework the surface three times a night! It stays tacky throughout the entire evening!

There are stand the on both sides of the track, The front stands were pretty full and the back stands are only used for the Nationals.

@libertarianman69 no. Maybe a little other places. Not at knoxville. The actually answer is people don't realize how big knoxville is compared to every other dirt track. With this amount of people they still would have sold out most tracks in the country most likely

You were seeing the back stretch they are only used for the Nationals, The front was pretty full.

That place holds like 20k. There was probably over 10k people there or so on front stretch. They only use that back stretch grandstand for the Knoxville Nationals.
