only the hopeless blackpilcels ones. Being from an indian immigrant background, I must say that, me NOT being a local despite being born in the UK sheds light into how much extra* I have to achieve to have the same opportunities. Naturally we have to work and go the extra mile and exert ourselves for virtue beyond what mediocrity. I think what a lot of GEN Z lacks these days is drive. Consequently as an indian my drive comes from the fact that I am an outcast in the country I was born in, and thus have to prove myself. Today, I am a junior doctor at a some what mid-sized hospital making 70k per year. I hope this story sheds some light into specific aspects of my story.
I am personally very lazy. That is why I live a minimalist live-style. 60 square meters. That is why I love to automate things at work. Love games like Factorio and Satisfactory as well. I don't want massive debt and risk. I've never gotten a raise. I have 4 years experience, and I have gotten 0%, 0%, and 2%. Then I changed jobs, and got 40% more. I'm just going to change jobs every 2 years now. Loyalty is punished, even though I was 4x as efficient year 3, as I was in year 1 at the job. The housing market is insane. I think it should be illegal for anyone but private person to own a home. And you should max be able to own two homes. Abolish renting. A home shouldn't be an investment. It should be a place to live.
