I know it's so stunning Jacqueline. Glad you could come along.
looked a lovely place , & full of architecture , & pretty bridges , certainly alot different from the other st ives down cornwall lol .
Yes the one in Cornwell is very pretty as well but extremely busy Lori. Around here is very quite. Lovely.
Cheers Will st ives Cornwall did not know there was another one they house you saw on the river probely gets flooded every yr .you shud keep ya eye on the battery mine went up in flames 2 yr ago played any golf lately stay safe Will Nice one Pal 🙂⛳️🔧✌️
I've changed the battery now. I played golf yesterday for the first time in months. It was a hot day but my golf wasn't hot. I think there's another st ives up north as well. cheers buddy
i live here in st ives . . . i am pleased you enjoyed your visit
A wonderful visit it was as well.
suggest you come to Blackthorn Lake Marina on the River Nene. The charge for pulling you out and putting you back in is very reasonable. You can black the boat yourself or have it done for you, also you can stay on the boat whilst it is being done.
Excellent news. I've got be quick getting on and off the Nene. I don't want to get caught in the rains. Thankyou Stephen.
Meant to say many times, your a great housekeeper, I'll bet I have Antique Cobwebs lol
When you think everything's paid something comes up like my van cambelt now. I checked it and it's cracking. Ha ha life hey. Thanks for the cobweb gag Phil.
All I can say is Bless you
At the moment of this vlog I hope you find a marina to get your boat blackened.
Enjoying the voyage you're having, trying to navigate (in life as well) and hear your ramblings.
I have a few marinas to look into on the Nene if i get on there before the rains come. Thank you for coming along Robert.
Liked this one Will - St Ives was interesting. Love those churches and bridge.. keep it up mate.
Cracking little place St Ives. Thanks for coming along Derek
Interesting film there.. visited the area a few times but nice to see it from the water 👍
So much better from the water.
Loving this area and all the history really must visit makes us jealous we’re not on our boat yet. Take care
Stunning place you must visit went you're afloat. You'll love it.
Very nice little volg 👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers Thomas.
Great vlog and editing, thanks!
Thankyou
Hi Will. Hope your having great times in the cut
I'm having a lovely time Kat
good vid on cut will keep up the good vids thanks lee
Thankyou Lee for coming along.
Yet again another great vlog Will with great scenery and it sounds like you enjoyed yourself. I was just wondering if Mr Tiller Man enjoyed it
Tiller man had his say at the end Keith. He's living the good life. Ha ha
Oh dear! You moored down the narrow cut in St Ives with a practically impossible winding hole at the end - coveted by a funny old man who (illegally) permanently moors there and thinks it's his private area 😂. The first visitor mooring is full of swans and people who feed them! Wild moor if you need to stay longer than 48 hours Will.
That's good advice Jill. The winding hole is too short for my boat. There was a guy in a cruiser that seemed to stay there. The path was really high up as well. I had to climb on the roof to get off.
A1307 renamed as it used to be the A14. That bridge used to be the site of the railway that linked Huntingdon to st Ives. 😊
Oh ok thankyou Debby. Have a good day.
Our four-year-old granddaughter has a guinea pig called Norris. Didn’t know he had a museum about him! Did you see the Chapel on the Bridge in Rotherham when you passed through (it's on the river Don close by the canal)? P.S. Another also available at Wakefield.👍👍
ha ha the Norris Museum was free entry. Not very big but worth a visit. I think i went through Rotherham and Wakefield so i must have seen it. Thanks for coming along
Well Captain Will who do you most identify with - Kirk, Archer, Picard or Janeway? Kirk was a rogue, Archer was the sexiest, Picard was SO posh (lordy that voice!) and Janeway was the most capable.
Kirk with Pickhards voice. He still looks young at 90. Ha ha cheers Susan
great video again mate why are there chains on the walls of the moorings and inside the locks? i suppose its a stupid land lover question..heheh
Just to tie up to, i guess Dougie. Glad you enjoyed it.
Loving this Will, the countryside is beautiful. Question? Is the plant on your boat a aspidistra.
It's a peace lily. It's getting too big now. i might have to split it into two plants. Then it becomes a piece's lily. Ha ha
@@NarrowboatWill if it had been a aspidistra I was going to ask you to split it and drop it off to me in Bulwell.😏
@@sbonbon2227 If it had been an Aspidistra, Will would have had to keep it flying and dropped it off at Wigan Pier! ;-) (Novels by George Orwell)
Pity you weren't live then perhaps we could direct you
Ha ha I need it. Some confusing parts but that's half the fun Vic. Thanks again for the coffee.
There was a car in the river the other day where you moored at 6:15
Oh dear some drivers think they can park anywhere. ha ha
@@NarrowboatWill I would put money on that someone said, you can’t park there mate 😂😂😂😂
