Hi, your approach of searching for a code is different than many other videos I've seen where they find a code perfectly in first try. You rather are searching as if you are a new coder, which is amazing as it exposes us to the common mistakes we do as a new coders. Amazing video.

Thank you so much! I find in coding that the process is just as important as the end result. With so many codes and so many changes it’s easy to get lost. Good foundations in coding will always carry coders through these challenges.

Hi Melanie! Thank you so much for taking your time to put together all these great videos. I came across your channel the other day and I honestly have to say I've been binge watching :) I actually pull out my books out and follow along with you. I have learned so much, THANK YOU!!!!! Would you happen to have a video on coding same day surgery?

Hi Jenny, Thank you for the feedback! I don't have a video on this topic directly, although I talk a little bit about modifiers in some of my Introduction to CPT Coding videos. Please feel free to email me anytime if you are looking at specific coding scenarios. mgrant13@cnm.edu

Hello Melanie.. Thank you so much for the video it was very helpull .. How or where do I get the 3M coding program you are using on this video??

The 3M is available to hospitals, facilities or students in an AHIMA program. If you are looking for one of these, you can contact 3M for access for your group at www.3m.com
If you are looking personally, I would recommend following along with the medical coding book, and using the terms I show in 3M as a reference when searching the alphabetical. I often teach that using 3M guides you where you would be in the coding books directly. Hope this helps!
