I really dislike the hero-stuff. I know some people like it, but it fucks up coherence in a survival game that is supposed to give you the feeling of vulnerability and realism. Having one person behaving like Sauron puts me off. If I have heroes I would like them to be only a bit stronger than normal units and weaker than endgame units, while giving more of a faction buff that changes the building gameplay.
Realy nice video, but i have to disagree with your final words. It is not a pick up of TAB, it's much more like TAB where it was 3? 2? years ago, or even earlyer - 6 units with 2 of them worth to building at all and farm-house-farm cicle as the only way of victory is looking like a step backwards. I was really dissapointed in AoD ea start, mostly in balance and conten. Like worst parts of TAB, but in really awesome setting. Thus I'm afraid this game will move exactly the same way TAB was going - Hey! 1 new unit! 1 more! Semi-working campain! End of support, we will never be back, thanks for your money, loosers(
