Correct up towards meter when wiring coming from main supply, point away from meter if being installed on wire between meter and fuse distribution board
We have a Zappi and solar....& both are seen in the MyEnergi app
We now also have Pylontech batteries.
How can we add a CT clamp to that so the MyEnergi app sees it?
(Sparkies failed to install as requested originally, & are now....less approachable.....)
Ok i am lost, you said the voltage is coming FROM the meter.. then the sound cut out a bit.
So the CT clamp arrow goes with the direction of flow of electricity from the meter.....or against it? ( it is for a zappi)
Cheers
It goes against the flow , not following the flow
Hi. I have micro inverters. so all AC NOT DC. The PV CT clamp should go around the live, 240V, of the panel inverters with the arrow pointing towards the panels? so awa from the Consumer unit? thanks
Yes
What energy meter are you using?
Mine doesn’t t have a directional ct clamp so reads the same which ever way it is connected
Its a conventional digital type electric meter. My setup has a directional CT clamp with a arrow on it , to make sure its pointing the right way
Hi we have a zappy charger with ct clamp and also solar ct clamp should they both be on the same meter tail coming from the meter tail load side ? Thanks
No the solar ct clamp should be on the solar positive load side
@@pylontechsolarbatterystora3979 thank you for your advice.
Can you show wires and layout for solar ct clamp
CT clamps . One goes on the AC meter side , AC coming in on the Live wire to monitor Load in house , the other CT clamp goes on Live of PV in, so you can monitor the power generated by the solar panels. Ok. Thanks for subscribing.
