Very impressive, not into steam stuff, but people likes the way that proton allow to just click amd run, besides that most games will not work. For among us there is a vulkan render I thing. Also, that mesa seems too old anyway. Since vulkan is on heavy dev, you may want to try to compile your own.
I really appreciate your coverage on box86 and box64, mostly bc you cover stuff I won't cover

There are a ton of games like this that I own on Steam, or "own" on EGS, that I'd like to play on the go but can't run natively on the ARM-based phones / handhelds that are available. I'm hoping that Box64 and Proton can change that.

How did you get Steam running on arm64? I tried that and it won’t launch. When I tried compiling box86 on armhf (32bit) and then installing Steam everything worked fine. But when I try it on arm64 it crashes, probably because of missing 32bit dependencies.
I start off with Raspberry Pi OS 64 Bit, then compile and install box86 and box64, then install Steam but it won’t launch.
Can you tell me how you got Steam running under 64 Bit?
