- Jimmy Allen was one of the most powerful preachers in churches of Christ over the last 100 years. His campaigns had over 50,000 responses and over 10,000 baptisms. He was an advocate for integration and equality when many were not. He was a wonderful man and those of us who knew him were tremendously blessed by his rare combination of love and firmness. He was genuinely interested in everyone he met. He will be missed!
We are posting three of his sermons in his memory as he passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Godspeed!!! R.I.P my brother. I will see you in heaven. I love you.
Jimmy Allen,
A speaker of inestimable value!
amen...he is missed!
@@revolutionofordinaries ,
I can see how!
I miss evangelists that resemble men like the apostle Paul.
They’re few and far between!
Men of courage who are committed to the truth.
@@revolutionofordinaries ,
Precisely!
@@revolutionofordinaries ,
They don’t preach like that anymore. God bless.
I love Brother Jimmy Allen’s sermons!

Thank you for the upload of Jimmy. God bless.
Thank you for watching Micah! If you didn't catch the other two, we uploaded three last week. God bless you!
this is my first time hearing him.. I have his book on Survey of First Corithians.
He was best known for his class and book on Romans. He was a great man and teacher. He didn't have the latest scholarship on Romans that has been really helpful over the last 10+ years. But what he taught was inspiring and convicting. Great man.
Powerful message!
Thank you Jay! Your comment means a lot to me.
Haven't heard a sermon like this from a c of C pulpit since I was a teenager.
He was a little direct. :)
@@revolutionofordinaries 😂 a bit
Me 35 minutes ago, "This might be fun to listen to a minute."
Me 35 minutes later, "Well, that was worth it!" ❤️
I had the privilege of having Jimmy Allen and Will Ed Warren serve as interim preachers at my church growing up in Arkansas. Their influence on young men to enter the ministry was always at the forefront. I miss both of them.
Amen! thank you
This preacher right off the bat talking about Paul has one of his facts very incorrect stating that Paul had never been married but from the facts of History we know that's not true. We know that Paul was a member of the Sanhedrin and it was a requirement to be married to be a member of that group. They're for Paul was either a divorcee or a widower which most theologians and scholars debate and discuss.
gr8god4u,
The Bible’s Right Sir! (I CORINTHIANS 7) Not your opinion!
